STOP THE “FUTURE CRIMES BILL” THE HATE CRIMES PREVENTION ACT

future_crimes-618x336This bill is to prevent a person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime, or received an enhanced sentence for a misdemeanor because of hate or bias in its commission, from obtaining a firearm. The impact is devastating! If an individual complains about anything and is deemed by someone in authority as ‘hate’ the perpetrator would be slapped with a hate misdemeanor, but this misdemeanor comes with a lifetime penalty… that penalty being the inability to own a firearm simply because a citizen complained about the government, their tax bill, foreign trade, the illegal alien invasion or anything deemed by the government as hate. Outrageous!

TELL CONGRESS THAT YOU OPPOSE THIS BILL!   See below.

Here are the guts of the bill: ‘….prohibit the purchase, possession, or shipment of a firearm by anyone convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime.’  Since the word ‘hate’ is defined by the government mind it could mean anything from displeasure with the government to complaining about taxes! Once this bill makes its way through both houses and is signed by Barack Obama, the meaning of ‘hate’ will be expanded, thereby making all misdemeanors a hate crime.

Misdemeanors are not a justifiable reason for restricting a constitutionally guaranteed right. The entire idea of hate crimes is frankly wrong. If an act is a crime, convict and punish accordingly. To modify the punishment based on the skin color is racist. To modify punishment based on gender is sexist. To modify punishment based on any other factor is to violating the very principles the concept of hate crimes was conceived of to protect. Hate crime legislation was and is a bad idea not made better by further expanding it’s reach…

TELL CONGRESS THAT YOU OPPOSE THIS BILL – ACT NOW!:

STOP “FUTURE CRIMES” LEGISLATION
