HORROR: Washington Post Laments That Withdrawing Planned Parenthood Funding ‘Would Lead To Thousands More Births’.

Boy, does The Washington Post hate babies.

Check out the beginning of the Post’s article about Congress’ intention to remove funding for Planned Parenthood:

A congressional plan to make Planned Parenthood ineligible for federal funding would leave many women without services to help them avoid pregnancy, resulting in thousands of additional births, according to a new federal budget analysis.

What! Thousands of additional births?

Of course, the Post could have phrased it differently: “resulting in thousands of fewer deaths,” but it’s doubtful those abortion-lovin’ folks at the Post would ever admit that a beating heart means there’s a life that could be snuffed out.

The Post explains that the prediction derived from a part of an analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. The estimate posited that the GOP replacement plan “would particularly affect low-income areas and communities without many health care options, leaving 15 percent of those people ‘without services that help women avert pregnancy.’”

So . . . more births. And this is a problem? Why?

The Post offers the answer: money.

The reduction in services would reduce federal spending on Medicaid, the state-federal program for the poor, by $178 million during 2017, the CBO estimated. But analysts believe the savings would be partially offset by the fact that there would be “several thousand” more births paid for under Medicaid, which already picks up the costs of about 45 percent of all U.S. births; many of those new babies likely would qualify for the Medicaid program.

So federal spending would not be reduced because more babies would be born and Medicaid would have to pay for them?

The Post could have phrased it differently: “resulting in thousands of fewer deaths,” but it’s doubtful those abortion-lovin’ folks at the Post would ever admit that a beating heart means there’s a life that could be snuffed out.

As Tom Glessner, president of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates, put it, forget about the cost either way; babies are being slaughtered. He said, “The CBO report is limited in value. Planned Parenthood should be defunded because its business is based upon killing unborn children. Beyond any and all other reasons, defunding should take place for this reason.”
