Obama Administration Spent $36 Million to Stop Records from Being Released

ABC News and CBS News covered the story, where the Obama administration spent $36 million to fight Freedom of Information Action (FOIA) requests in the last year of his administration. CNN and NBC News did not cover it on the home pages of their online websites, which is a shocking omission of news.

This piece of news debunks the transparency defense for the Obama legacy, as in the words of ABC News, “For a second consecutive year, the Obama administration set a record for times federal employees told citizens, journalists and others that despite searching they couldn’t find a single page of files that were requested.”
