In order to preserve America’s rich heritage of liberty and freedom given to us by our Founders and to stop the new Dark Age of tyranny that the Obama 
administration is imposing on the nation, American patriots must take several important steps. Americans need to preserve and live in a free constitutional Republic. Given the strong action and involvement of good men and women in the nation, Americans shall remain free.
It is of utmost importance to ban all electronic voting machines in future elections 
as these machines can be easily manipulated and results can be altered. It is also crucial to purge the voting lists of dead people and other ineligible voters. It is important to demand that all voters in all states, not just the 33 states that currently require voter picture ID, present a picture identification before casting their ballots to prevent cheating.
All freedom-loving American patriots must unite and stand together to defend their beloved nation. It is crucial to work together with all Tea Party, patriot, 
religious, and conservative organizations as well as with the Republican Party to capture the Senate and keep the House of Representatives in 2014. This will put an end to Obama´s road to a socialist totalitarian society. Congressional Republicans should not be afraid to sue the president in federal courts and/or file impeachment charges should Barack Obama continue to violate the Constitution. Enough is enough!
Crucial to take the White House in 2016 and beyond is to change the system in the swing states that presently allocates all electoral votes in 48 states to the winner of the popular vote. It is important to implement a new system, where electoral votes are shared with the winner of the popular votes of the Congressional districts and the winner of the popular vote in the state. In other words to end the system of “winner takes all.”
Using Florida as an example, if there would have been this system of shared electoral votes in 2012, Obama would have received two electoral votes (representing the two U.S. Senate seats) since he won with the 50.5% of the popular vote. He would also have received the electoral votes of the Congressional districts where he had triumphed with the majority of the popular vote. Mitt Romney would have received numerous electoral votes of many of Congressional districts in Florida where he won the majority of the popular votes. Florida has 27 Congressional districts.
Maine and Nebraska are already allocating their electoral votes in this manner, which is most fair. If all the battleground states would have had the system of sharing the electoral votes as in Maine and Nebraska, Mitt Romney would be our president today. Romney would have received many electoral votes in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, and other key battleground states sufficient to win the majority of the electoral votes in the nation. Changing the system of allocating electoral votes is a prerogative of the governor and the state legislature. In states, such as Florida and Ohio, where Republicans are in control of both houses of the state legislature and the office of governor, this can be easily done.
Republicans could never win the White House if they lose the 29 electoral votes in the swing state of Florida. Changing demographics and an increased immigration of Puerto Ricans, which tend to vote Democratic, may make the Sunshine state harder to win in 2016 for Republicans. This writer´s strong recommendation is to change the system of “winner take all” in Florida and other key swing states. This recommendation must not be ignored by the Republican Party unless the Republicans are willing to be condemned as minority party forever.
During the mid-term elections of 2014, there will be 35 Senate seats up for grabs. The Democrats will have to defend 21 of the Senate seats and the Republicans will have to protect 14 seats. The formidable Obama machine will raise millions of special interest money to protect the Democratic majority in the Senate, so the road ahead will be difficult. Barack Obama will use lies and deceit and will demonize Republicans as he has done in the past. However, the Republican Party has a strong chance of taking control of the Senate and stopping Obama´s radical agenda.
The Republicans could gain control of both houses of Congress in 2014. Should this happened, it would be a victory for freedom and constitutional government in our nation. Many believe, including the National Black Republican Association, that President Obama´s egregious acts of despotism constitutes serious crimes and misdemeanors, which are grounds for impeachment. If Obama were to be found to have committed a crime or crimes by any of the many Congressional investigations under way, the House of Representatives could bring impeachment charges against the president and the Senate will hold a trial and vote on the accusation. It could very well be career-ending for Barack Obama.
In 2016, patriotic Americans must find a competent, inclusive, and charismatic conservative candidate, who is able to unite the Republican Party to capture the White House in 2016. This presidential candidate needs to attract not only Republicans but also Democrats and independents as well as more Hispanics and African Americans, younger voters, and women. Romney received over 60 % of the white male vote but this is not enough. Of course, it is assumed that the 2016 presidential elections, unlike the 2008 and 2012 elections, will be clean, transparent, and fair.
Every individual in our nation has a sphere of influence, whether small or large, which is made up of family members, friends, and associates. Therefore, American patriots must inform themselves on the multiple threats that the nation is facing at home and abroad. Americans need to explain those threats to those that are uninformed, especially to our young people, who have been so misinformed by leftist teachers and professors in schools, colleges, and universities. Republicans also need to reach apathetic Americans and remind them what Edmund Burke said many years ago: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
American patriots do not need to accept the America in decline that we have today. Americans do not need to feel dispirited, intimidated, or unable to fight back. There is still time to save America and restore its greatness. Americans can reverse the disastrous and misguided domestic and foreign policies of the Obama administration that are taking our beloved nation down the road to ruin and bankruptcy. Americans must rise up from sea to shining sea to defend the country from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Americans need to remember how the Founders in 1776 wanted to live in freedom and not accept tyranny from a foreign king. Only a third of the people in the Thirteen Colonies wanted independence. But our Founders were not discouraged, nor were they afraid.
The patriots realized that they would have to fight the greatest military and naval power in the world, which was Great Britain at the time. Patriots, such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, and Sam and John Adams, knew that the odds were not in their favor, but they were not intimidated.
Patrick Henry in his call to arms speech in 1775 said the following: “They tell us, sir, that we are weak-unable to cope with so formidable an adversary… Sir, we are not weak if we will make a proper use of those means which the God of nature has placed in our power… Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave…. Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
Our Founders took giant steps toward liberty and freedom. They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the cause of liberty and freedom by asking for God’s help. Benjamin Franklin reminded them that to succeed they had to be united. He told them, “We need to hang together, or most assuredly, we shall hang separately.” Now is the time for Americans to come together and to defend freedom in the United States since the beloved nation remains at its maximum danger with the current occupant of the White House! Future generations will know that today’s patriots saved America, and in so doing, they also saved the world. One cannot forget that “eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” As Thomas Jefferson reminded us by saying “I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but in the people themselves.”
A cultural war is ragging today for the soul of America. Americans must win this war. The great evangelist, Dr. Billy Graham, stated, “if America is to survive, we must elect God-centered men and women to public office, individuals who will seek divine guidance in the affairs of the state.” American patriots must do just that. Another evangelist, Charles Finney, wrote the following: “The Church must take the right ground with respect to politics…God cannot sustain this free and blessed country which we love and pray for, unless the Church take the high ground.” Just like the churches of our Founders did, our churches and other religious institutions today, must lead the way.

Americans need to ensure transparent and clean elections.
