Signs of Hope that Obama Scandals Won’t Be Hidden Forever

At last, congressional investigators are threatening to issue subpoenas over one of the Obama Administration’s many cover-ups. In this case, Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has lost patience with FBI officials who are stonewalling an inquiry into how the IRS and the FBI, among other federal agencies, singled out the conservative group True the Vote for blatant abuse.

True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht and her husband have had 17 different audits or investigations of their personal finances and businesses by government agencies in what is clearly a politically motivated jihad. The Engelbrechts’ chief crime is their willingness to construct an easy-to-use online system to help clean up voter rolls and get people registered to vote.

It’s about time that government officials who perpetrated this banana republic treatment of True the Vote be held accountable. Some should be going to prison for violating the Engelbrechts’ constitutional rights.

Let’s hope and pray that the congressional investigators follow through on their threats, sending a chill into the people who are still covering up the Benghazi disaster, Fast and Furious and a dozen other scandals and abuses of power under Obama.

FBI Accused of Blocking Inquiry into IRS’ Targeting of True the Vote
The House’s chief investigator says the FBI is stonewalling his inquiry into whether the agency and the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative group True the Vote for special scrutiny, and Rep. Darrell E. Issa is now threatening subpoenas to pry loose the information from FBI Director James B. Comey Jr.
