Obama Hypocritically Says “The Killing of Innocents is Never God’s Will”

“The killing of the innocent is never God’s will. In fact, it is the ultimate betrayal of God’s will.”

—  President Barack Obama at the 2014 National Prayer Breakfast

The quote comes just after the one minute mark.

For the first time that I can remember I wholeheartedly agree with something that President Obama has said. I’m not sure if it will ever happen again, so I feel the need to really process through this.

I agree with the President on several different fronts.

First, President Obama was speaking specifically about terrorism. He’s right. The extremists (particularly Muslim extremists) who conduct terrorist activities against civilian populations are monsters. They are anti-God, and their work is borne of evil. More and more often we see the immoral activity of the Islamic extremists as they recruit, train and often force children to carry out their heinous misdeeds because of the cowardice of most terrorists.

Secondly, while the President would not include unborn babies in the category of “innocent,” He has no rational/logical region to exclude them. Since Roe v. Wade was decided, the United States of America has massacred 56 MILLION innocent preborn children in the name of political correctness. These children were (and are) innocent, and their murders are an affront to a Holy and Righteous God. Many Americans will continue to try to rationalize their agreement with this barbaric act, but their arguments will always break down. Science has proven out the beliefs of pro-life activists, and now the pro-abortionists argue over semantics and “life’s difficulties.” It’s selfish and monstrous.

Thirdly, I wonder if President Obama would apply this statement to the deaths of innocents at the “hands” of our military drones. In an effort to kill one terrorist, we often have collateral damage and the deaths of innocents. Does he believe this to also be “a betrayal of God’s will?”

President Obama has played fast and loose with human life since his first day in office, and while he may say he values life – the evidence shows that the contrary is true. The blood of many innocents drips from the hands of our President. His hypocrisy is astounding.
