Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and liberals in Washington are fundamentally committed to shoving the gay agenda down our throats, like it or not.
Right off the bat when Obama took office, he repealed âdonât ask, donât tellâ and allowed gays to serve openly in the military despite the objections from our brave men in uniform. He and Holder have also refused to do their executive duty to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court. Theyâve even said theyâll ignore the laws of the states and recognize all same-sex relationships as marriages.
Weâre now learning more details about the administrationâs decision to repeal âdonât ask, donât tellâ and let gays serve openly in the military. According to one of the nationâs top military commanders, Obama literally threatened military officials that if they didnât accept the new policy, then they could resign their commissions. Wow.
In a video obtained by BuzzFeed via a Freedom of Information Act request, Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Robert Papp revealed that Obama was unwilling to compromise with service leaders over DADT during a meeting in 2010. âWe were called into the Oval Office and President Obama looked all five service chiefs in the eye and said, âThis is what I want to do.â I cannot divulge everything he said to us, thatâs private communications within the Oval Office, but if we didnât agree with it â if any of us didnât agree with it â we all had the opportunity to resign our commissions and go do other things,â he said.
In a 2008 interview, then-Senator Obama told The Advocate that he wouldnât make support of DADT âa litmus testâ for his military leaders. âWhat I want are members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who are making decisions based on what strengthens our military and what is going to make us safer, not ideology.â
Hereâs another perfect example of Candidate Obama saying one thing and President Obama doing another. He wanted to sound moderate towards the military when trying to get elected, but once in office he wasted no time trying to shove his liberal agenda down the throats of our nationâs top military commanders. Sickening.
