Sneak Peek: Megyn Kelly Asks Former Terrorist And Obama ‘Acquaintance’ Bill Ayers the Hard Questions

Fox News host Megyn Kelly sat down last week with Weather Underground co-founder Bill Ayers for an extensive interview. Ayres is known not only for his 1970′s-era involvement in bombing federal buildings in Washington, D.C., but for his relationship with Barack Obama as well.

The full interview will air on The Kelly File Monday evening, but the host played a few clips on her program Thursday.

Kelly asked Ayers to confirm the number of bombings the Weathermen conducted, and the number Ayers was personally involved with.  As has been the case in the past, he refused to answer the latter question.

While interest in Ayers as a former domestic terrorist remains, it’s his relationship with Barack Obama that has drawn the most interest and scrutiny since Obama was elected president.

While the White House has consistently denied that Obama had a relationship with Ayres, the former bomber confirmed in 2013 something that the administration has also denied: Ayres held a fundraiser for Obama in 1995 – in his living room:

“We were friendly, that was true; we served on a couple of boards together, that was true; he held a fundraiser in our living room, that was true; Michelle and Bernardine were at the law firm together, that was true.”

Ayres’ wife, Bernadine Dorhn, was also a leader of the Weathermen. Both Ayres and Dohrn spent time in federal prison for the bombings.
