Radical Islamists, members of the so-called “religion of peace,” have warned Iraqi Christians to convert, pay a tax, or die.
Where are the outcries from Christians around the world?
And if change doesn’t happen soon here in America, the current generations may well be the last to exercise religious liberty in our nation.
Christians are being targeted worldwide. Believers have become the doormats of radical Islamists and the victims of a surging anti-Christian movement here in the United States.
Where is the outrage?
The Reuters News Service issued this revealing report about Christian persecution just last Friday:
“Islamist insurgents have issued an ultimatum to northern Iraq’s dwindling Christian population to either convert to Islam, pay a religious levy or face death, according to a statement distributed in the militant-controlled city of Mosul.
‘We offer them three choices: Islam; the dhimma contract – involving payment of jizya; if they refuse this they will have nothing but the sword,’ the announcement said.
[They] set a Saturday deadline for Christians who did not want to stay and live under those terms to ‘leave the borders of the Islamic Caliphate.’
‘After this date, there is nothing between us and them but the sword,’ it said.”
As is now being reported, Christians did as they were told and fled for their lives. They were met at the border by ISIS soldiers and robbed of every personal belonging except the clothes on their backs.

America has long been the “shining city on a hill,” as President Reagan so aptly described the nation he loved. As recently as the turn of the millennium, we were the beacon of liberty and freedom for all the world to see and admire.
It grieves me to consider how far our nation has fallen under the radical transformation taking place following Barack Obama’s 2009 inaugural pronouncement that he would “begin again the work of remaking America.”
Now, there is a new battle emerging. Following the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby ruling, President Obama and his leftist cohorts in Congress have vowed to do everything possible to gut the High Court’s ruling via legislation and Executive Orders.
The anti-Hobby Lobby movement is yet another in Obama’s long train of abuses. He has been targeting people of faith since the day he took office as a United States Senator – and now as our President.
The 2014 mid-term elections will set the course of our nation for generations to come.
Here’s the central question: Do we want America “fundamentally transformed” to mirror the secular- socialist ideals of the radical leftist currently occupying the White House?
In Barack Obama’s America, religious freedom and individual freedom are trampled beneath the interests of the State as a matter of course. It’s happening at an unprecedented rate.
Silencing people of faith in the public square has always been the goal of those who realize the influence that pastors, churches, and people of faith have on elections. I want pastors to remove their muzzles and replace them with megaphones.”
