House Speaker John Boehner is Against Impeaching President Obama

As President Barack Obama continues to violate the Constitution there are more members and former members of Congress as well as many Americans demanding his impeachment. On July 8, 2014 former governor of Alaska and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin called for the impeachment of Obama,  in an op-ed piece stating that the influx of unaccompanied illegal minors immigrants over the southern border “is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, no mas.”

Ed O’ Keefe wrote an article entitled “Boehner Disagrees with Palin in Impeachment Obama which was published in The Washington Post  on July 9, 2014. He explained that House of Representative Speaker John A. Boehner, Republican from Ohio, disagrees with Republicans calling for the impeachment of President Obama. Boehner said when asked by reporters about impeaching the president “I disagree.” When a reporter pointed out that some Republicans in the House of Representatives are also calling for impeachment, Boehner said again: “I disagree.”

boehner-suing-obamaBoehner’s comments came after Sarah Palin said on July 8, 2014 on Fox News that the House Speaker’s planned lawsuit against Obama over his use of executive power was a weak maneuver. “You don’t bring a lawsuit to a gunfight,” Palin said and added that “there’s no place for lawyers on the front lines.”

Ed O’ Keefe pointed out that Palin is hardly the first GOP politician to raise the issue of impeachment over the past couple years. The reporter stated the following: ”  Others include Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Reps. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.), Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.), Michael Burgess (R-Tex.) and Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), former congressmen Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.),  Allen West (R-Fla.), and the South Dakota Republican Party, Not everyone explicitly called for Obama’s impeachment, but they have suggested that it should be considered.”

Mathew Staver Chairman of Liberty Counsel stated on July 9, 2014 the following: “President Obama’s long train of abuses against the Constitution he swore to defend make him subject to a congressional inquiry to determine if he should be impeached. Time and again, he has violated the sacred trust of We, the People. Refusing to secure our southern border and orchestrating an unprecedented humanitarian crisis there are just the latest examples of Barack H. Obama’s presidential failures. Speaking as a constitutional attorney, it is my belief that Barack H. Obama has violated the sacred trust of the American people and should be removed from office.”

Staver pointed out that “It’s no secret that Sarah Palin is not a fan of President Obama. Since her days as the 2008 Republican candidate for vice president, the former Alaska governor has been a vocal, high-profile critic of the former community organizer.” He explained that Sarah Palin in a Breitbart article joined the growing chorus of voices calling for Americans to end the Obama presidency. Palin stated the following: “Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president…. It’s time to impeach; and… we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment. The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”

I have been calling for the impeachment of the president for several months. Obama has violated the Constitution from the time he took the oath of office in January 2009 to defend and protect it. He has told Congress arrogantly that he has a “pen and a phone” and he will issue executive orders if Congress does not act on his recommendations. Obama has used the IRS, the Labor and the Justice Departments to persecute his political opponents. His agencies like the EPA and departments implement regulations that have the same effects as laws. He picks which laws he wants to enforce and which ones to ignore. Obama has repeatedly lied to Congress and the American people. He has engaged in multiple cover ups as in Fast and Furious. The president send millions to Hamas , a terrorist organization in violation of multiple laws including the Patriot Act.

But even worse, President Barack Obama committed treason during the illegal and unconstitutional war in Libya. The House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi needs to investigate not only the terrorist attacks in Benghazi but also the Obama administration assistance to the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood and jihadists during the civil war. The Select Committee needs to investigate the White House cover-up of the Benghazi terrorist attacks that killed four Americans with Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the United States and Muslim nations in the world. Lastly, the Select Committee needs to investigate the Obama administration training terrorists from al Qaeda in Syria and Iraq at a secret base in Jordan and whether they also received weapons sent from Libya to Turkey to Syria that assisted them to expand their caliphate.

President Obama entered into a war in Libya violating the Constitution since Congress did not authorize it. Later Obama had been engaged in a Middle Eastern gun-running operation without Congressional authority and in violation of United States laws.

The president violated his oath of office and multiple laws by sending weapons to and working with terrorist groups during the civil war in Libya. He continued to violate laws by later sending weapons from Libya to Turkey knowing that those weapons would eventually fall into the hands of al Qaeda-link terrorist groups fighting in Libya. Moreover, Obama worked with the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and Muslim nations to engaged in a cover-up. This is astounding and alarming. President Obama is a traitor who should be impeached by the House of Representatives and prosecuted by the Senate.

President Obama committed treason, dereliction of duty, and criminal negligence in Libya during the civil war against Qaddafi and for his refusal to save our diplomats and Navy SEALs in Benghazi. President Barack Obama is unfit to be our commander-in-chief and must be impeached by the House of Representatives and the Senate must hold a trial. What more do we need to impeach this unlawful president who is out of control?

If House Speaker John Boehner is against impeaching President Obama, we need to replace him with another Speaker of the House that will defend the Constitution from the traitor who lives in the White House.
