Laurent Fabius, who has visited Iraq to witness firsthand what is happening to innocent civilians in the country, said in an interview that America’s Commander-in-Chief may want to rethink his priorities, according to The Daily Mail.
“I know it is the holiday period in our Western countries,” Fabius told a radio interviewer Tuesday in France, “but when people are dying, you must come back from vacation.”
President Obama has taken in the beach, Democratic fundraisers, and several rounds of golf while he and his family vacation on the upscale island. Meanwhile, crises rage in Iraq, the Gaza Strip, and Ukraine.
The Daily Mail reports that Obama is planning to return to Washington, D.C., this weekend, but will return to his vacation on Tuesday.
