Who is Congressman Joe Garcia?

U.S. Representative Joe Garcia was speaking about the low crime rate in border cities, such as El Paso Texas, which have lots of federal immigration employees as proof that “communism works.” Garcia was speaking at a Google hangout last week to discuss comprehensive immigration reform with supporters. He was criticizing many Republicans who like to spend money for border security when he said the following:

“Let me give you an example, the kind of money we´ve poured in, so the most dangerous, sorry, the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas. It happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez. Right? And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico. And of course, there’s reason is we´ve proved that communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime.”

How could a Cuban American member of the House of Representative made such a horrible statement? He is a disgrace to many anti-communists from Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and other countries who have Marxist presidents who drove them to seek freedom in the United States.

Garcia, a Cuban American Congressman from South Florida, told The Miami Herald he never meant what he said and that he was instead taking a shot at his GOP opponents. Garcia stated “this is an absurdity, accusing the son of Cuban immigrants of believing in communism is just ridiculous.”

Unfortunately for Garcia his comments were recorded in a video.

Javier Manjares, a reporter for Shark Tank, wrote on May 21, 2014 that some of Congressman Garcia’s biggest campaign donors are in the travel industry which support President Obama’s easing of restrictions to the island of Cuba, and so does Garcia. It is well known that the Cubans who operate the travel agencies in South Florida that send tens of thousands of Cubans to the oppressed island work closely with the tyrannical and sanguinary Communist regime in Cuba. The millions spent from those who travel to Cuba, some of them as tourists, are supporting financially the oppressive regime of Fidel and Raúl Castro.

Congressman Garcia has also backed the Havana research institute´s efforts of seeking approval in the United States to test and market drugs made in that communist country. Manjares reported that back in 2010 when Garcia was speaking to Castro-friendly supporters he stated that “I support the revolution very strongly, very passionately… I love Fidel like my father, and I believe he loves me like a son.”

Joe Garcia defeated Congressman David Rivera in 2012 and now faces reelection against Republican Carlos Curbelo. During the 2012 campaign Garcia accused Rivera of an election scandal by supporting a Democrat that was running against him during the Democratic primary. Ironically, Congressman Joe Garcia´s staff members were involved in an election scandal of the very same type that Garcia accused Rivera.

Staff Members of Congressman Joe Garcia Involved in an election scandal

On May 31, 2013 investigators from the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office served search warrants at the homes of Giancarlo Sopo, age 30, and John Estes, age 26. A third search warrant was served even though it was not clear to whom it was given. The investigators removed computer equipment from the homes of these individuals. Giancarlo Sopo is the Communications Director of Congressman Joe Garcia, Democrat from South Florida. John Estes was Joe Garcia´s campaign manager.

Soon after the search warrants were executed, Jeffrey Garcia, age 40, Congressman Garcia’s Chief of Staff and top political strategist, suddenly resigned. Apparently, Jeffrey Garcia assumed responsibility for a phantom absentee-ballot fraud that took place before the August 14, 2012 Democratic primary for the Congressional District 26. This congressional district extends from Kendall in southern Miami-Dade County to Key West in Monroe County, Florida.

Congressman Joe Garcia stated the following: “I’m shocked and disappointed about this… This is something that hit me from left field. Until today, I had no earthly idea this was going on.” Ironically, Joe Garcia had repeatedly attacked Congressman David Rivera alleging that he was illegally supporting Justin Lamar S Sternad, a Democrat, who ran against Joe Garcia in the Democratic Party primary in 2012.

Joe Garcia defeated Justin Lamar Sternad, Gustavo Marin, and Gloria Romero Roses in the August 14, 2012 Democratic congressional primary. Later, Garcia defeated Congressman Rivera, who was running for reelection in the general election on November 2012.

Interestingly, Congressman Joe Garcia used the same comments as President Barack Obama with respect to the many major scandals involving his government. That is, both stated that all these events were news to them, that they had never heard of them before, and that it took them by surprise.

On May 31, 2013, Patricia Mazzei wrote an article for The Miami Herald entitled “Congressman Joe Garcia’s Chief of Staff implicated in phantom absentee-ballot requests scheme.” She interviewed for her article Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle who said that, “historically, absentee voting is the source of all voter fraud.” The State Attorney from Miami-Dade County pointed out that her office has targeted absentee voting, which she considers problematic, and is conducting a thorough investigation into fraudulent absentee ballot requests for the August 14, 2012 primary election in Miami-Dade County.

The Miami Herald wrote a series of articles indicating that there were hundreds of fraudulent absentee ballot requests for the August 14 primary election involving the 26th Congressional District of Joe Garcia. The Miami Herald discovered that many of these fraudulent absentee ballot requests originated from Internet protocol addresses in Miami and others were from foreign Internet protocol addresses.

This investigation revealed that in Miami-Dade County the request and collection of illegal absentee ballots from non-English speaking seniors and from the demented elderly population has always been a major problem. Some individuals have been arrested in Hialeah for illegally having in their possession many completed absentee ballots. These individuals are called in Spanish “boleteros” or “boleteras.”

If large numbers of absentee ballots are collected in an election with a poor voting turnout, these absentee ballots could easily determine the winner. Under state of Florida elections laws, only voters or their immediate family members or legal guardians may request absentee ballots for them. This violation is considered a third-degree felony. However, using the private information of an individual, as required in online ballot-request forms, is a more serious crime. The latter is considered a first-degree felony.

Congressional District 26, which Joe Garcia won, has been previously occupied by Republican politicians. It is considered a vulnerable district for Congressman Garcia. Republican Carlos Curbelo said at the time, “Joe Garcia has to come clean immediately and tell the public if his campaign involved absentee ballot fraud.”

Joe Garcia’s Chief of Staff Jeffrey Garcia and top political strategist implicated in phantom absentee-ballot requests scheme was convicted and went to jail for 90 days and received also a 15 month in 2013. Jeffrey Garcia is still under federal investigation over the suspected ringer candidate in the 2010 election.

This horrible scandal represents very negative news for Congressman Garcia as he is seeking reelection in November 2014. It involves two of his top assistants and his campaign manager in the absentee ballot requests scandal. John Estes, Joe Garcia´s former campaign manager, was also the campaign manager for Democrat Patrick Murphy, who defeated Republican Congressman Alan West in Palm Beach County. Congressman West was concerned that there was fraud in this election.

Joe Garcia, Democrats in Congress and President Obama viciously attacked Republicans in Congress during the partial government shutdown

On October 1, 2013 Congressman Joe Garcia viciously attacked his fellow Republican House of Representatives members. He said that some Republican Party members of the House of Representatives wanted to vote for the continuing funding of the government. Garcia added the following: “Unfortunately they have been taking hostage by extremist elements in their party. We just need our colleagues to step up, push aside these extremist elements, this Taliban.”
The National Republican Congressional Committee and the Republican Party of Florida were incensed at this terrorism-related rhetoric by Congressman Garcia. The chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Lenny Curry, stated the following: “Congressman Garcia’s remarks on the floor of the United States House of Representatives, equating some of his colleagues to the Taliban, are reprehensible and disgusting. Congressman Garcia needs to apologize to his colleagues and all Floridians.” Congressman Garcia eventually apologized for his shameful remarks.
Congressman Garcia supported enthusiastically the horrendous and unwarranted attacks made by President Obama, White House officials, Democrats in Congress, and friendly reporters from the mainstream media to Republicans in Congress. Republicans were called terrorists, kidnappers, anarchists, arsonists and much more. This will not be forgotten by the Republicans or most of the American people.

The deliberate efforts by Congressman Garcia, Democrats in Congress and the president to inflict maximum pain on the American people during the partial government shutdown will not be forgiven or forgotten. Congressman Garcia and President Obama’s insults and unfounded accusations of Republicans in Congress will result in a hardening of partisan divisions in the near future.

Congressman Garcia and former community organizer, Barack Obama, follow strictly the pages from Saul Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals. Saul Alinsky thought that you have to demonize, never compromise, and destroy your opponents. Alinsky also taught his Marxist and radical disciples to use deceit, lies, and ridicule against their opponents. His best pupil, Barack Obama, has rigidly adhered to his teachings.

The nation has a mean-spirited, cruel, and even sadistic president in the White House. How else can you explain denying entrance to elderly World War II veterans, many of them in wheelchairs, to a memorial that they helped built and then allowing thousands of undocumented immigrants to use the mall for political purposes with police protection? How could Obama’s Defense Department deny financial help to the families of dead soldiers arriving in caskets to our nation?

It was completely unnecessary to close all national monuments and museums as well as national parks throughout the nation. Republican bills to fund many vital services, including crucial medical services from the National Institute of Health, were rejected by the Democratic-majority in the Senate at the president’s request. This was most cruel and inhumane. This clearly shows that the president has his priorities upside down. Barack Obama is unfit to be the leader and Commander-in-Chief of this great nation.

While the established pro-Obama media proudly proclaimed that the Tea Party Republicans were defeated, the media will be proven wrong during the congressional elections in 2014. The conservative wing of the Republican Party who was so horribly attacked by Congressman Garcia and President Barack Obama will continue fighting for fiscal sanity, protection for the national security, and a clean and transparent government.

Congressman Joe Garcia must explain his election scandals and his remarks on Fidel Castro as well as his ideology

Congressman Joe Garcia still under investigation for the voter fraud scheme during his election campaign. He is also under federal investigation thanks to a straw candidate plot, where his campaign had Roly Arrojo, a member of the Tea Party, run against David Rivera in the Republican primary 2010. Congressman Garcia’s Chief of Staff Jeffrey Garcia was convicted and sent to prison for election fraud. This alarming scandal should be sufficient for voters in Congressional District 26th to defeat and reject Garcia. They are enough scandals involving Democrats and President Barack Obama to send back to Congress another one with the baggage of Joe Garcia.

Now Congressman Garcia will have to explain to the anti-Communist Cuban community in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties why he seems to like communism and why he wants closer relations with the oppressive and sanguinary communist regime led by Raul Castro. Congressman Garcia must be defeated in his reelection to Congress. If Garcia really likes communism, perhaps he needs to move to Cuba and Venezuela and then live in “paradise.
