Fox News Drops Bombshell About Obama’s Ebola Plan… This Could Put Millions in Danger [VIDEO]

It’s almost as if there’s a direct statistical correlation: as the news concerning the spread of the Ebola virus becomes more dire, the Obama administration’s response to it becomes more bungled and wrongheaded.

There was the fact that the “Ebola Czar” appointed by the administration doesn’t actually have experience with infectious diseases. There was the rather slow response by officials, elected and otherwise, in the first reported case of Ebola in New York City. Now comes word of a State Department memo that proposes the U.S. should bring non-citizens who catch the Ebola virus while treating patients in West Africa to America for treatment.

According to Fox News, the memo was first obtained by House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.). It states in part that, “The United States needs to show leadership and act as we are asking others to act by admitting certain non-citizens into the country for medical treatment for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) during the Ebola crisis.” The memo would later be independently obtained by Fox News, as well.

The document, which was categorized as “sensitive, but unclassified,” pretty much stated its position from the outset: “Purpose: Come to an agreed State Department position on the extent to which non-U.S. citizens will be admitted to the United States for treatment of Ebola Virus Disease.”

It went on to recommend, “That State and DHS [Department of Homeland Security] devise a system for expeditious parole of Ebola-infected non-citizens into the United States.”

While the memo was originally penned by an unnamed staffer on the State Department’s Ebola Coordination Unit, it was approved by Nancy J. Powell – the woman tasked by Secretary of State John Kerry to lead the State Department’s outreach program on Ebola. Powell, who is the former ambassador to India, is unsurprisingly maintaining radio silence on this issue.

If you’re for some reason unsure just how dangerous this idea is, consider the utter chaos caused solely by the treatment of Thomas Duncan. Even in strict quarantine, Duncan infected two nurses. After one of these nurses informed the Centers for Disease Control that she was symptomatic, the CDC still let her rack up frequent flier miles on Frontier Airlines, where she put untold more at risk.

Now, the State Department wants to import hundreds, if not thousands, of Thomas Duncans to the United States. Why would we trust them with many when they can’t even handle one?

Please share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that President Obama is putting millions of Americans at risk for Ebola.
