Miami, FL-During a recent press conference and rally in support of Florida Governor Rick Scott’s gubernatorial campaign, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio did what he often loves to do, rip into Charlie Crist.
Rubio said that Crist made the already bad Florida economy worse by promoted “unstable and unreliable” ideas,” which made Florida “an unstable place” to live.
We were afraid to create jobs in Florida because you had someone in he Governor’s mansion when Charlie Crist was there, who did not know how to lead, and whose ideas were counterproductive. We cannot go back to that.-Sen. Marco Rubio
In closing, Rubio stated that “Charlie Crist chose to tap out” when he ran for the U.S. Senate in 2010, reminding supporters that Crist decided to leave the governor’s mansion in what is arguably Florida’s worse financial period in recent history, and opt to live in Washington, D.C.
