The Hypocrisy Of Ferguson

Zemir Begic, a 32-year-old Bosnian native, was killed when three black and one Hispanic teenagers damaged his car and then murdered him with hammers in front of his wife in St. Louis, Mo., early Sunday.

“He didn’t deserve this,” wife Arijana Mujkanovic said. She said Begic saved her life, pushing her out of harm’s way.

There were no sightings of Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. President Obama did not send Attorney General Eric Holder back to Saint Louis to investigate whether any civil rights were violated, even though the assailants were minorities and the victim was Caucasian.

Residents of the Bosnian community conducted a peaceful protest on Sunday, demanding justice and pointing out that crime has increased in the area from minority criminals from outside the community. Many of the protesters said they “no longer feel safe in their community”

During the protest no buildings were set on fire, no stores were looted, the police did not have to use tear gas, and no one was assaulted. Of note, no American flags were burned.

President Obama will not meet with Bosnian civil rights leaders to discuss the increasing violence in their community from outside black youths. No NFL players or Hollywood elite has made any statements. Maybe they are waiting for another black youth to be killed. Oh wait, that happens on a weekly basis.

I wonder what criteria they use to speak out or stand up for violence? When will Twitter explode with tweets of no justice, no peace?
