On Megyn Kelly’s Thanksgiving 2014 special (“Who’s Teaching Our Kids?”), she interviewed Joel Klein as one of her guests. He is the ex-chancellor of the NYC schools (resigned in Nov. 2010). Not one time in the entire education special did Kelly nor Klein mention Common Core nor the College Board/David Coleman/AP U. S. History (APUSH).
Why did Megyn Kelly not cover the unbelievable damage that Common Core Standards and the College Board’s APUSH are doing? Normally Kelly can be counted on to do a good job of hard-nosed reporting.
JOEL KLEIN, RUPERT MURDOCH, FOX NEWS – VESTED INTERESTS
In an attempt to establish Joel Klein’s credibility, it was mentioned on the education special that Klein is an advisor to Rupert Murdoch who owns Fox News.
Klein is not just an advisor to Murdoch; both are in business together.
inBloom was set up to be a massive data mining component to help implement the Common Core Standards Initiative. CCSI is tied to the Obama administration’s U. S. Department of Education and also to Bill Gates.
The operating system for inBloom was developed by Amplify division (a.k.a., Wireless Generation) tied to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. The CEO of Amplify/Wireless Generation is Joel Klein.
INTRUSIVE DATA MINING — inBLOOM
inBloom has been used to gather 400 data points of personally identifiable and intrusive information on students, parents, and educators. inBloom’s purpose is to feed that information to the federal government’s massive data gathering mechanism.
[inBloom closed down in May 2014 largely because of public outcries over its intrusive data mining, but other similar companies have formed to take inBloom’s place.]
VESTED INTERESTS OF FOX NEWS HURTING OBJECTIVE REPORTING
Now we know why Fox News, which usually does a good job of investigative journalism, has done little-to-nothing to warn the public about the takeover of the public schools by the Common Core Standards Initiative and APUSH.
UNRELIABLE SOURCES ON EDUCATION ISSUES
The vested interests of Rupert Murdoch, Joel Klein, Bill Gates, Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee, and other supporters and investors in the Common Core Standards Initiative (and the College Board’s APUSH) have made these people unreliable sources of information on education issues.
BACKGROUND ON COMMON CORE AND APUSH
David Coleman is the architect of Common Core English Standards and is now the president of the College Board. He has stated that all products owned by the College Board (including all AP tests, the SAT, the PSAT, and the GED) will be aligned to the Common Core.

ACTION STEP: The U. S. House has the power of the purse. Their first order of business in Jan. 2015 should be to cut all funding for Common Core, the College Board, and the federal regulations to take over higher education through 34 CFR Parts 612 and 686, RIN 1840-AD07, Docket ID ED-2014-OPE-0057.
Please contact your U. S. Congressmen, assertively asking them to cut funding for Common Core, The College Board, and also for the new set of USDOE regulations for higher education.
