Pirro: De Blasio Engaged in ‘Anti-Law Enforcement Agenda’

Pirro: De Blasio Engaged in ‘Anti-Law Enforcement Agenda’On Saturday, the Fox News Channel’s “Justice with Judge Jeanine” host Judge Jeanine Pirro accused New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) of engaging in an “anti-law enforcement agenda.”

Pirro argued that New York City has “never [been] more divided.” And “as tens of thousands of police from around the country come to pay respects to Officer Wenjian Liu, assassinated with his partner Officer Ramos five days before Christmas in the city where protesters chanted death to cops, Mayor Bill de Blasio continues his anti-law enforcement agenda.”

Pirro cited de Blasio’s reappointment of Judge Laura Johnson who freed, without bail, two men who threatened police officers. She also called de Blasio’s statement in regards to the criticism he received for the reappointment “disingenuous,” and “factually wrong and misleading” and accused him siding with a “turn ‘em loose judge” and that one of the freed men, Devin Coley, was a “quintessential flight risk.” She further cited Coley’s criminal history as reasons why he should not have been released without bail.

Pirro also blasted Judge Johnson, calling her no bail decision, “irresponsible” and declaring that it amounted to “ignoring the rule of law and it is a danger to the community.”
