Judge Jeanine throws Obama’s favorite line back in his face

Judge Jeanine Pirro threw one of President Obama’s favorite tropes back in his face Saturday night, criticizing his treatment this week’s visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asking why Obama is so consistently “on the wrong side of history.”

After mocking conflicting administration statements about terrorism as being like an Abbott and Costello routine, Pirro listed terrorist actions and contrasted the reactions of foreign leaders to the slaying of their citizens.

Jordan’s King Abdullah, for instance, cut short a visit to Washington after a Jordanian pilot was burned alive by Islamic State terrorists to direct a retaliation bombing campaign. Obama announced the beheading death of American photojournalist James Foley in August, then went golfing.

And now, Obama is trying to “throw our one solid ally in the Middle East – Israel – under the bus.”

Obama, like many pretentious progressives, makes a habit of accusing his opponents — whether it’s Republicans in domestic politics or enemies abroad — of being “on the wrong side of history.” (National Review columnist Jonah Golberg pointed this out in a column last year.)

Pirro said the truth is exactly the opposite,

“Mr. President, why does it feel you’re on the wrong side of things, the wrong side of history?” Pirro asked.

Returning again to the comic theme, Pirro summed up:

“The last laugh, Mr. President, is on you.“

Unfortunately, it’s on the rest of us, too.
