Rev. Graham: ‘Anti-Israel and Anti-Semitic’ Muslims Influencing WH Against Netanyahu

Rev. Graham: 'Anti-Israel and Anti-Semitic' Muslims Influencing WH Against NetanyahuRev. Franklin Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said the liberal media, Congress, and the White House were shunning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because “anti-Israel and anti-Semitic” Muslims were influencing the Obama administration against Israel.

The evangelical leader also stressed that this pressure is being brought to bear against a president who “was raised with a strong Muslim influence in his life,” his father and step-father, and the schools he attended.

Rev. Graham added that Netanyahu, who is scheduled to speak before Congress on March 3, is a friend of the United States who “deserves our respect,” and yet is being treated by these Muslim lobbyists “as an enemy.”

“Why is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu being shunned by the liberal media, congress, and President Barack Obama?” said Rev. Graham in a Feb. 28 Facebook post.  “I believe it’s because this administration has been heavily influenced by Muslims speaking into and giving advice in various areas of the White House.”

“They are anti-Israel and anti-Semitic—and they are influencing the president who as we all know was raised with a strong Muslim influence in his life,” said Rev. Graham, who also runs the international Christian aid group Samaritan’s Purse.

“His father and his stepfather were Muslims and he attended Islamic schools. Prime Minister Netanyahu has been a friend to the US and deserves our respect,” said Rev. Graham.  “They’re treating our friend and ally as an enemy.”

The White House has been negotiating with Iran over its nuclear program and is working on a deal that Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly has raised concerns about and likely will address in his March 3 speech before Congress.
