Delta Force HAND-TO-HAND fighting in terror raid gave 12 ISIS KILLERS their death wish

Delta Force HAND-TO-HAND fighting in terror raid gave 12 ISIS KILLERS their death wishIslamic State militants may have gotten just what they have been clamoring for all these months in a daring raid by U.S. special forces.

And they may not be quite as eager for another taste.

As more details emerge about the successful raid into eastern Syria Saturday that killed a key ISIS leader, it appears the fighting culminated in hand-to-hand combat, according to Fox News foreign correspondent John Cuddy.

“They got into a firefight with ISIS militants, including Abu Sayyaf,” Huddy reported Saturday on Fox News’ “America’s News Headquarters,” speaking of the U.S. Army’s elite Delta Force.

“They killed him. They captured his wife, Umm Sayyaf,” he added. “And also what we’re hearing at this point is that there was hand-to-hand combat between those Delta Force commandos and ISIS militants.”

The dramatic confrontation occurred amid recent threats by ISIS targeting U.S. military personnel on American soil. Delta Force saved them the traveling expense.

How did the encounter work out for the bad guys?

At least a dozen terrorists are dead, while all the Delta Force operatives were able to get out safely, Huddy said.

Huddy cautioned those who might celebrate the operation’s success, warning that ISIS is still gaining ground in much of the region.
