O’Reilly Goes Off on Officials Over Killing of SF Woman: ‘The Whole Thing Is Absolutely Disgusting’

O’Reilly Goes Off on Officials Over Killing of SF Woman: ‘The Whole Thing Is Absolutely Disgusting’Bill O’Reilly blasted San Francisco officials Tuesday night, contending their policies that created a sanctuary for illegal aliens led to the killing of Kate Steinle.

The Fox News host said that the city’s mayor, Ed Lee, and other local officials are “directly responsible” for Steinle’s death which allegedly came at the hands of illegal immigrant Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez.

“That’s because San Francisco is a sanctuary city that does not cooperate with the federal government, even on holding and identifying criminal aliens,” O’Reilly said. “Sanchez was in custody in San Francisco and … Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi let him out, defying ICE officials.”

O’Reilly called for Mirkarimi to resign.

“I mean what kind of law officer allows a known felon to walk free when the feds want him in custody?” O’Reilly asked. “The sheriff is incompetent … And so are the folks who run the city of San Francisco, most of whom are now hiding.”

“The Factor” host said Steinle is “collateral damage to the insane far-left politics that have long corrupted the city by the bay,” adding that dangerous individuals are “walking around because of political correctness.”

“The mayor and the supervisors want to seem sympathetic to illegal aliens,” O’Reilly said. “That’s what this is all about, them and their liberal profile. The whole thing is absolutely disgusting.”

In the segment, O’Reilly added that Senate Majority Mitch McConnell had told “The Factor” that Senate leadership would be meeting to discuss “Kate’s Law,” a piece of legislation that would mandate five years of prison time for illegal aliens who return to the U.S. after being deported.
