RAMADAN IN CHATTANOOGA: FOUR MARINES DEAD IN JIHAD ATTACK

More Ramadan ritual slaughter: four Marines were shot dead in cold blood Thursday in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and one police officer was wounded. The war is here. Any attack on a U.S. soldier is an attack on us. The Islamic State has called for attacks on military personnel in the US. An Islamic State supporter tweeted out “Chattanooga” just as the shootings were beginning. Clearly this was an Islamic State attack.

Two military sites were attacked Thursday by an Islamic jihadi. The shooting attack began on the U.S. Naval Recruiting Center on Lee Highway in Chattanooga, and ended at the U.S. Naval Reserve Center on Amincola Highway.

The gunfire went on for 20 minutes. War in the streets. For months, the Islamic State has been exhorting its Muslim followers to target and kill US military personnel. Last October, an Army intelligence bulletin is warned U.S. military personnel to be vigilant after Islamic State militants called on supporters to scour social media for addresses of their family members – and to “show up [at their homes] and slaughter them.”

After the jihad attack on our free speech event in Garland, Texas in May, military bases across the United States were placed on higher alert for domestic terror attacks, in response to a surge in threatening chatter from ISIS and its sympathizers. “It is the highest level of security since the tenth anniversary of September 11,” notes Fox 13 News in Tampa Bay, home of MacDill Air Force Base.

So why weren’t these military installations on the ready and armed?

Years ago, Bill Clinton instituted a ban on armed military personnel. Islamic groups and jihadists are targeting our military personnel: give them back their weapons.

Cagen Wagner, a high school friend of jihad mass murderer Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, said that Abdulazeez was “a quiet kid, well liked.” She asserted that he was from an “average Chattanooga family.” Said Wagner: “I never would have thought it would be him.”

So what happened? What activated him? Piety. Islam. Literal Islam.

Jihad is directly tied to level of religiosity.

Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was not on any watch lists or any terror suspect lists, which goes to the very point I was making in my ad campaign: “Yesterday’s Moderate is Tomorrow’s Headine.” The jihad attack of Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, “a quiet kid, well liked,” proves yet again that this was a very necessary and pointed warning. Yet the response of the elite media, academia and Islamic apologists to my ad was to viciously attack me and my work to educate the American people.

It is believed he was born in Kuwait, and it was unclear whether he was a U.S. or Kuwaiti citizen. Which brings us back to our disastrous immigration policies. Obama is importing hundreds of thousands of Muslims from jihad nations, as well as from “moderate” Muslim countries like Kuwait. Without recognition of the ideology behind these attacks, we are sitting ducks.

An attack on a U.S. soldier is an attack on every American. The mosque that Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez attended should be immediately investigated, and if found to be teaching the ideology of jihad that inspired his attack, closed. His attack shows that it is long past the time to discard the politically correct sharia compliance that keeps us from speaking honestly about what inspires such attacks. How many more American military personnel, and American civilians, are going to have to die before our leaders begin to wake up? How many more lives will have to be lost before the Republicans start to make the denial and obfuscation about jihad into a campaign issue?

Enough is enough. The war is here, and the jihadis are here. Now where are our leaders with the courage and the will to call them what they really are and fight them until they are completely and utterly defeated?
