We all know that Hillary Clinton’s rhetoric displays pure contempt for the Constitution, but her actions do as well.
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution – known as the Title of Nobility Clause – prohibits government officials from receiving gifts from foreign governments without Congressional consent.
Why is this important? Well, Hillary Clinton received millions of dollars personally and to her organization after she became Secretary of State.
When asked whether Hillary charged foreign governments for favors, White House Spokesman Josh Earnest didn’t deny it.
It’s clear as day: Hillary Clinton violated the Constitution and must be held accountable!
How crooked! Tell Congress to investigate and punish Hillary Clinton for accepting foreign bribes while Secretary of State!
That’s really all they are: bribes. In 2008, Hillary Clinton promised to disclose all of the Clinton Foundation’s donors. Originally, she honored that promise but then in 2010, the disclosures suddenly stopped.
It doesn’t get more crooked than this. Hillary’s job as Secretary of State was to meet and work with foreign leaders and while she served in this capacity, millions and millions of dollars from these same foreign leaders flowed into Bill and Hillary’s organizations.
It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for a government official to receive gifts from foreign powers unless Congress approves it. Here’s the text as it appears in the Constitution:
“No Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any king whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”
The Secretary of State is an “Office of Trust” and to have foreign governments donate millions and millions of dollars to Hillary’s foundation while she held the position is a clear Constitutional violation.
And now Hillary wants to be President? I don’t think so!
The Founders gave Congress the power to police government officials’ foreign gifts. Congress NEVER gave Hillary permission to run a quid pro quo scheme through the Clinton Foundation.
Now it is up to Congress to investigate and, if necessary, punish Hillary Clinton for this clear and flagrant crime.
It really doesn’t get clearer than this. The Constitution says Hillary Clinton was not allowed to receive gifts from foreign states and that is exactly what happened. She violated the Constitution and is therefore unfit to even run for President.
The amazing thing is that Hillary Clinton could have been emailing foreign governments about this while she was serving and we’ll never know because she unlawfully destroyed the email records.
She’s guilty simply because she destroyed potential evidence of her wrongdoing. Congress notified Hillary Clinton in 2012 of a Congressional investigation into her use of private emails. As soon as she received this notice, she had a legal obligation to safeguard ALL of her emails. But she didn’t. She deleted the emails and destroyed the hard drives to hide the evidence.
This is what is known as “spoliation of evidence,” which describes an intentional or negligent withholding, hiding, alteration or destruction of evidence that is relevant to a legal proceeding. Regardless of reasoning behind Hillary’s email deletion, the fact that the she did not make a good faith effort to follow protocol and secure the data means that it is legally reasonable to infer “consciousness of guilt.”
Hillary Clinton is guilty! Demand that Congress investigate and punish her for receiving foreign gifts and violating Section I, Article 9 of the Constitution!
The evidence is piling up around Mrs. Clinton. It’s time to lower the hammer and put a stop to the corrupt Clinton machine once and for all.
I am going to leave you with this: When George Washington was elected President, Congress offered to pay him a $25,000 salary. Originally, he refused the salary. He firmly believed that public servants should serve. However, he thought about it long and hard and ultimately decided to take the salary. Why? Well, Washington also believed that the Presidency should not just be open to those who could afford to work without salary.
How did we get from this textbook definition of selflessness to the Clintons using their offices to fill their personal coffers?
If the Founders were alive to see this, they would weep for what this country has become; for what we have allowed the country to become.
But it doesn’t have to end this way. Hillary Clinton doesn’t have to get away with it.
There’s nothing the Courts can do and the Obama administration sure won’t prosecute one of its own. It is up to Congress to investigate and punish Clinton for her wrongdoing and it is up to YOU to demand it!
