Mr. President, can you acknowledge when Christians are murdered?

Shocker: Pretty Much Everything Obama Said About Gun Violence Was WrongShortly after the news unveiled the mass murder at Umpqua community college, in Roseburg, Oregon, president Obama said that the states with more gun laws had less gun related deaths.

Barack Obama’s comment was false. Perhaps the best example to cite comes from Illinois, the president’s state. Illinois has one of the strictest gun control laws in the United States; however, it is one of the most violent states in the country.

The day of the shooting, Bill O’Reilly reminded us the truth about gun control in Illinois: Chicago has had more than 6,000 shootings and more than 1,000 mortalities due to weapon use in recent years. These statistics as well as many others from gun-controlled areas around the country challenge the president’s comments.

In fact, Barack Obama’s comments completely disregarded the history of his own state. He took advantage of this horrible tragedy and twisted the facts with one clear purpose: to advance his liberal anti-gun agenda. His misleading message was merely a direct attack on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

There is another important detail we should mention. According to multiple reports, the mass murderer asked the victims whether or not they were Christians. If they answered “yes”, they were shot in the head. Those who answered “no” were shot in the legs.

Based on information released soon after the slaughter in the Umpqua school, it became clear that this criminal act had a religious component and was directed against Christian students.

During his press conference, the president made no comment about the nature of the crime; sadly, it’s not the first time Barack Obama chose to ignore or minimize crimes committed against Christians. Let’s remember this year’s murder of 21 Coptic Christians by the Islamic state in February. When Obama spoke about the news, he selectively omitted the word “Christians.”

The president also rushed to say that violence related to arms has become “routine” in the United States. At the same time, Obama has ignored the crimes and the persecution of Christians taking place for years in the Middle East. I doubt president Obama will ever say that the murder of Christians in the Middle East had become “routine.”

Once again, Barack Obama showed the country his real face. Not that it is shocking; he is known for his anti-Christian and pro-Islamic position. In fact, when it comes to crimes committed by radical islamists, the president is consistently in a state of denial.

At this time, 5 days after the horrific crime that targeted innocent students, president Obama failed to acknowledge that a mass murder against Christians has been committed in the U.S.

Let’s also remember what Barack Obama said at the United Nations on September 25, 2012: “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Mr. president, we don’t expect you to say that the future must not belong to those who slander Jesus… But please, at least acknowledge when CHRISTIANS are murdered.
