“White male Christians” are not killing in the name of Jesus Christ. “White male Christians” are not screaming Jesus is greater (than your g-d) while chopping non-Christian heads off. And the numbers cited here don’t count the victims of jihad terror — but hey, what did you expect? It’s what Muslims do.

This claim is the new mantra of the politically correct: it was recent repeated by Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, among others.
It does not, contrary to Mogahed’s claim, come from the FBI. It derives from a widely-heralded study that was published last summer by the New America Foundation, claiming that “right-wing extremism” was a bigger threat to the U.S. than jihad, based on the number of Americans killed by each since 9/11. Not only does this study skew the results by leaving out 9/11, but it also ignored the many, many foiled jihad plots in the U.S. since 9/11.
Also, right-wing extremists like Dylann Roof, the murderer in Charleston, South Carolina, killed because of their paranoid fantasies, but were not part of any movement with an articulated agenda or goal, while Islamic jihadists are members of or ideologically aligned with groups that have declared their intention to destroy the U.S. and the free world. Islamic jihad groups are determined to kill as many Americans as possible and conquer free societies, and swallowing Mogahed’s nonsense here will result in the deaths of many Americans.
