In a very troubling trend, it seems children are becoming the target for radical Islamic terrorists.
On the heels of the Easter Taliban attack that killed at least 72 — many of them women and children — intelligence officials are warning of ISIS plans for an “imminent” attack on children.

ISIS has advanced plans to carry out a terror attack heavily targeting Jewish children in Turkey, according to intelligence officials.
Sky News reports that six operatives from the terror group, arrested in the Turkish city of Gaziantep last week, revealed information about an “imminent” attack.
Istanbul’s synagogue in Beyoglu is understood to be the most probable target of the allegedly impending attacks, which has a community centre and school attached to it.
Kindergartens, schools and youth centres for Jewish children are at the centre of the plans, according to reports.
An intelligence source told Sky News, “This is a more than credible threat. This is an active plot,” adding the information gathered from the operatives indicated an imminent attack that could be “in the next 24 hours or next few days”.
The source said that in response to the threat, intensive security measures were being put in place, including “undercover” and “covert” round-the-clock terror measures.
While the Taliban claimed its Easter attack “didn’t mean to” kill children, their claim was highly questionable given the location chosen for the bombing, a massively crowded area of the Lahore park adjacent the area which houses swings, train and some other attractions for children.
ISIS appears to be more direct about its plans to target children.
Both groups have made clear their intent to kill people because of their faith — the Taliban on Easter targeting Christians, and ISIS in this case targeting Jews.
Meanwhile, our White House seems unwilling not only to acknowledge the problem of radical Islam; it refuses to acknowledge Christians and Jews — and children, no less — are being increasingly targeted.
But if a Muslim boy brings a bomb-like device to school — hoo-boy, it’s an international incident. The world is upside down.
