Rick Perry isn’t seeking re-election but is considering a second run for the White House and is expected to attend. Also planning to be there, according to spokeswoman Catherine Frazier, is tea party-backed Sen. Ted Cruz, who appears likely to test the presidential waters. Same goes for former Florida Gov. Sen. Ted Cruz 97% said that if he is elected president, he would “absolutely” go after Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

During a campaign rally in Orlando, Florida on Friday, Cruz told Sean Hannity it is about “principle” that Clinton is not held “above the law.” (RELATED: Napolitano: Hillary Clinton Should Be ‘Terrified’ IT Guy Was Given Immunity [VIDEO])

Hannity asked Cruz, “Let’s say that the FBI makes a criminal referral to the Justice Department and it is ignored. And you become president, the statute of limitations had not passed — would you aggressively go after Hillary Clinton if the FBI believes she committed felonies?” (RELATED: Hillary Will Be Indicted, Says Former US Attorney)

Cruz responded, “Absolutely yes, and there is a principle here that matters.” (RELATED: Hillary Gets Mad When Asked If She’ll Quit Race If She’s Indicted [VIDEO])

“This country was founded on the principle that no one is above the law, and whether it is the Clintons or whether it is some in the Republican Party who think they are above the law, that the law doesn’t apply to them, that’s not how it works,” Cruz insisted.

Clinton is facing scrutiny from the FBI and Justice Department for operating a private email server and having classified information on it while she was secretary of state. (RELATED: Hillary Clinton’s Emails Contain ‘Operational Intelligence’ That Put Lives At Risk)
