The Mayor Philip Levine and Commissioner Ricky Arriola who went to Cuba with Obama want to open a Cuban Consulate in Miami Beach.
The resolution will be considered by the Mayor and commissioners on Wednesday April 13 at 8:30 PM at City Hall. A number of members of anti communist organizations will speak in support of the resolution.
Frank de Varona will be the first speaker on behalf of the Junta Patriotica Cubana as member of the Assault Brigade 2506 who invaded Cuba at the Bay of Pigs on April 17, 1961.
Among the many organizations attending are La Assamblea de la Resistencia Cubana, thel Directorio Estudiantil, the Ex-presos Politicos, the MRR, and several other organizations.
