The Syrian Refugees and Obama’s Plot Against America

amuslim.sized-770x415xcMaybe it was the predictable mainstream media omertá, but somehow I missed the disquieting news, announced April 7, that Obama had cut the screening time for Syrian refugees all the way down to three months from the original 18-24.

This after Mr. Michael Steinbach, executive assistant director for the FBI’s National Security Branch, testified on the refugee situation to the House Homeland Security Committee in February as follows:

We don’t have it under control. Absolutely, we’re doing the best we can. If I were to say that we had it under control, then I would say I know of every single individual traveling. I don’t. And I don’t know every person there and I don’t know everyone coming back. So it’s not even close to being under control.

Not even close to being under control? So why not speed things up then? And, while you’re at it, keep raising the number of refugees you’re admitting.  “Gina Kassem, the regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, told AP the target of 10,000 refugees ‘is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number.'”

How high? High enough to have the U.S. recapitulate the UK?  Is that what we want?  A new survey from Britain indicates that their Muslim population is, to be blunt, not even close to assimilating and is harboring some pretty disturbing ideas, not to mention a decent number sympathetic to ISIS and/or al Qaeda.

The poll — which shows that a significant part of the British Muslim community is becoming a separate “nation within a nation” — has reignited the long-running debate about the failure of 30 years of British multiculturalism and the need for stronger measures to promote Muslim integration. The survey was conducted by ICM Research for the Channel 4 documentary, “What British Muslims Really Think,” which aired on April 13.

The 615-page survey found that more than 100,000 British Muslims sympathize with suicide bombers and people who commit other terrorist acts. Moreover, only one in three British Muslims (34%) would contact the police if they believed that somebody close to them had become involved with jihadists.

In addition, 23% of British Muslims said Islamic Sharia law should replace British law in areas with large Muslim populations.

On social issues, 52% of the Muslims surveyed said they believe homosexuality should be illegal, compared to 22% of non-Muslim Britons. Nearly half believe it is unacceptable for a gay or lesbian to teach their children. At the same time, almost a third (31%) of British Muslims think polygamy should be legalized. Among 18-to-24-year-olds, 35% think it is acceptable to have more than one wife. [bolds mine]

It goes on with many similar mind-boggling  statistics. (Example: 39% of British Muslims say a woman should always obey her husband — where’s Gloria Steinem on that one? Not to mention Hillary or Huma?)

This has led even Trevor Phillips, the very man who invented the term “Islamophobia” back in 1999 (yes, even before 9/11), to have second thoughts. He should.

Yes, I’m aware this is Britain and we, supposedly, are better at assimilating immigrant populations. At least we used to be. But this is a different matter. The U.S, has been lucky in that what is assumed to be our most serious immigrant problem (legal or illegal) comes from our Hispanic southern neighbors. They are Catholic cultures, which makes it vastly easier to assimilate into a country the roots of whose Constitution are Judeo-Christian.  Europe, to preserve its burgeoning welfare states, opened its doors to a culture that has little or no intention of assimilating — indeed one that has historically aimed to engulf Europe and nearly did twice.  That the Europeans — from Molenbeek to Malmo — now have an immense problem couldn’t be more obvious.

But what about us?  What is Obama up to here? It’s hard to avoid the conclusion that he is busy, in his last moments, doing his best to subvert our society as we know it. And he has allies. Some of them are disheartening and might be surprising to you. If you’re interested, look up the following organizations: “Gateways for Growth Challenge,”  “Partnerships for a New American Economy,” and “Welcoming America.”

We are a nation of immigrants, and proudly. But the irony is this: If we wish to keep it that way, we have to be certain the people we are letting in respect our traditions and do not seek to destroy us. That can’t be done in three months in these circumstances — and Obama knows it.
