BREAKING: Obama Unleashes Epic Whine After His Amnesty Rejected By SCOTUS

word-imageA visibly disappointed President Barack Obama took to his podium to address the media Thursday morning in reaction to the Supreme Court ruling on his immigration executive actions.

The court had issued a split decision on the case, 4-4, which essentially upheld the lower court ruling that had struck down Obama’s actions as unconstitutional and outside of his purview.

According to the Washington Examiner, Obama called the ruling “heartbreaking” and declared that the blocking of his executive amnesty “sets our country back.”

Slamming the tied ruling as a non-decision, Obama lashed out at Republicans for refusing to confirm his nominee to fill the vacant seat on the court, Judge Merrick Garland, which likely wouldn’t have mattered in this particular case anyway, simply due to the timing.

Revealing his own glaring hypocrisy on the matter, Obama proclaimed that Republicans “are allowing partisan politics to jeopardize something as fundamental as the impartiality and integrity of our justice system.”

Going further, he accused Republicans (and, without naming him, presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump) of scaring voters with hyperbole about illegal immigration and threats of amnesty to score more votes.

“Leaving the broken system the way it is, that is not a solution,” Obama stated. “In fact, that is the real amnesty — pretending we can deport 11 million people, or build a wall without spending tens of billions of dollars of taxpayer money — is abetting what is really factually incorrect.”

“It’s not going to work and it’s not good for this country. It is a fantasy,” he added.

First of all, as to his claims of this ruling being a non-decision that shouldn’t really count, you can be sure that he would be holding up this 4-4 ruling as the word of truth if it had upheld a lower court ruling in favor of his executive actions.

As to his gripe with the GOP over not confirming Judge Garland to the court, that dead horse has already been beaten enough. The court has made do with less than a full complement of justices before, and it will make do again until the next president takes office.

Furthermore, to label Republican plans to actually enforce immigration laws already on the books as “amnesty” is ludicrous on its face. In fact, it’s one of the dumber things to have been uttered by this president in quite some time — and that’s saying something.

President Obama lost today, and much like the whiny Democrats occupying the House floor to force a vote on unconstitutional gun control that won’t work, he pitched a temper tantrum worthy of an elementary school child.
