“We’re only getting started, and it’s going to be beautiful.”

Donald Trump capped off the official end of the Republican primary season with a brief speech at Briarcliff Manor, New York, where he emphasized how his candidacy represents real change and outlined his plan to promote “America first” policies throughout his presidency.

Trump made special mention to reach out to supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), saying that his campaign will “welcome you with open arms.” He lamented that they have been screwed by the Democratic Party’s “rigged” superdelegate system that was going to guarantee Hillary Clinton victory.

He then described how the Trump presidency was going to have “fantastic” trade deals and will bring jobs back to the United States. Trump said that he loved to bring people together, and that he’s going to fight for the American people as president.

Trump pivoted to criticizing the Clintons as people who have “rigged” the political system. Trump said that he didn’t know why Hillary Clinton has been able to get away with using an “illegal private server” and that she’s being protected by a corrupt system.

“The last thing we need is a Clinton in the White House, or an extension of the Obama disaster.”

Trump teased an upcoming speech “probably on Monday,” where he plans on outlining everything wrong with the Clintons.

On foreign policy, Trump did not hold back on criticizing Hillary. He said that her foreign policy invaded Libya, created ISIS, destabilized Syria, and triggered the refugee crisis in the region. He said that foreign policy needs to make America safer, and that his foreign policy plans will accomplish these goals.

Shifting to domestic policy, Trump cited crumbling infrastructure in American schools, bridges, and airports, and the need to fix these issues. He also cited the necessity of enforcing immigration laws.

Trump closed his speech–one of his first done with the aid of a teleprompter, by reiterating that he is going to make America great again.
