AN INTERVIEW WITH CARLOS BERUFF

Bear Witness Central directors requested an interview with Carlos Beruff and he graciously agreed. As reported in our previous post on Carlos Beruff, the state of Florida is facing an extremely important election to fill the U S Senate seat.

We have found Carlos Beruff to be the stronger candidate when it comes to the issues the People care about.” Carlos is a successful home builder, a proud representation of the American Dream. He has never heldĀ political office but has a good grasp of how government works, or in some cases doesnā€™t work, by being on several governmental boards. He was instrumental in eliminating financial waste in those agencies and making them also more accountable to the people. He jumped into the Senate race because as he mentioned… “they’re all career politicians. All they do is talk for a living. Never done anything.” “I have lived the American Dream, and the only reason I am running for the United States Senate is people have lost what it is to be a public servant,” he said, adding that America needs to be restored after the Obama presidency. ā€œWhat Iā€™ve seen for the last seven and a half years is a total destruction of the values I grew up with under this administration. And itā€™s been done on purpose.ā€

Bear Witness Central directors interviewed Carlos Beruff covering the economy, immigration, education, international and military issues. His response in all the questions that were asked of him were concise, thorough and what was expected of a true Conservative citizen.

A brief summary of Carlos positions in regards to the questions that were asked follows:

Carlos’ position is clear on TPP(Trans Pacific Partnership), TTIP, and other “free trade” agreements that undermine U.S. sovereignty given the hostility of Russia, China, and Vietnam to the interests of the US.Ā  He does not support those free trade agreements. Because of the big company donors, financial corruption in Washington is a significant problem. He supports the dissolution of NAFTA and a return to balanced, fair bilateral trade.

Carlos indicated that he does support the use of tariffs and other forms of industrial policy to restore our manufacturing base.

The privately owned Federal Reserve System has destroyed the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar, manipulated interest rates, and transferred vast amounts of wealth from the poor and middle class to the ultra-wealthy while enabling the federal government’s ridiculous spending. All of this has been done without so much as a proper audit. Carlos would support a bill to audit the Federal Reserve.Ā  He does not believe that there is any government agency that should be exempt from audit, nor the Fed. He supports a conservative measure to maintain a level of inflation that is tolerable. He supports less government and more government directly answerable to the people.

In order to entertain a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution, it creates the temptation to hop on the dangerous Article V Con Con movement (aka Convention of States movement), but Carlos indicated that he does not support an Article V Constitutional Convention (Con Con as it is referred to) nor the Convention of States movement, and for good reason. The Convention of States movement calls for an Article V Constitutional Convention, a dangerous method of amending the US Constitution in today’s current political climate.

Carlos was asked why hasn’t there been any mention on his website or press accounts on how globalization and free trade wrecked our industrial base?Ā Ā  He answered that there is no particular reason; there is so much and so many things that are wrong now a days that you can’t comment on everyone of them.

To the question on what is his position towards so-called arms control (e.g. New START), he indicated that START is a lousy deal, the Russians are not scaling anything and we are. He wants the U.S. to have more power than anyone else has. For example a new technology like the rail gun is a technology that will put us ahead of everyone at a low cost.

Delving into the question of his position on the Wars Powers, should the president be able to start wars without a formal Declaration of War from Congress as required by the Constitution, and under what circumstances?Ā  Carlos indicated that the President should not be able to start wars without a formal Declaration of War from Congress. The only reason that the President should be able to start a war (a response to a nuclear attack is actually a defensive measure) is if a nuclear attack is launched against us, since it only takes about 30 minutes for an intercontinental ballistic missile to reach the USA. Under a non-nuclear treat Congress should be involved.

Should the UN Security Council and/or NATO be able to send American military forces into battle without even consulting Congress, as was done in Libya? Carlos indicated that he does not think that any American forces should be used without our consent.

The main strategy being used by internationalists – in government and in lobby organizations – to bypass the US Constitution is the use of “treaties”. They intend to disarm this nation by treaty, completely internationalize education by treaty, circumvent parental rights by treaty, and reduce the population under Sustainable Development by treaty. If a treaty is dropped on your lap to support as Senator, what would you do? Carlos indicated that he does not believe that the United Nations should have unilateral control of goods and services and he would not authorize those.

Carlos was asked if he has been to Cuba with other businessmen to explore investment on the island? His answer was a definite no. He responded that he went to Cuba on an inaugural flight invited by a friend, just as a gag, he has no interest to go back to Cuba or do business with Cuba. He found Cuba to be a disaster and has no passion for Cuba. He is worried about our current situation in the United States. Carlos also indicated that he supports the full revocation of diplomatic and trade relations with Cuba in light of its continued support for international terrorism and totalitarian rule.

What is your opinion on the New World Order, Council of Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group, and Trilateral Commission? Carlos responded that George Soros and his groups are looking for a globalized society, which he wants no part of. He wants it to be the USA, sovereign and independent with self interests only.Ā  He has no desire to be involved in foreign alliances as Thomas Jefferson warned us: “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations…entangling alliances with none”.

Carlos also mentioned that he agrees that this country is being completely dismantled by global powers and global corporations that care more about their bottom line and the whole power structure than the United States. He mentioned that he had made a trip to Washington D.C., what struck him mostly was the overwhelming presence of the multi-national corporations’ lobby! He has seen it also in the lobbyists attitudes, these people do not represent the people, they represent the international corporations.

In regards to immigration, Carlos was asked about his position towards H-1B, H-2, and other visa programs that are exploited as vehicles to exploit cheap labor. His response was that H-1B programs are abused, is it there not enough talent or are they using that for dollar and cents issues? He also indicated that what Disney did with their employees using theĀ H-1B visa, he does not support.

Do you agree that the Supreme court has overstepped its authority in its rulings on homosexual “marriage”, abortion, etc? If so. how would you as a U.S. Senator work to rein in the court? Carlos responded with a yes. The Supreme Court has become a de-facto legislator, the argument that the Supreme Court should have term limits is very compelling.

Do you believe the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution means what it says? If so, which federal agencies and departments would you work to abolish? Carlos indicated that the Department of Education should be abolished, the Department of energy should be abolished except for the part that regulates nuclear power; the EPA should be abolished and authority should be delegated to the State Agencies. Then you either have no EPA or merge that Department with another Department. This country has sophisticated permitting agencies, to use the existing rules. In regards to the BLM he indicated that the US has plenty of land already, he does not think that it needs more land, we need to put land back to the private sector and give the states authority on what they do with their land. The Constitution did not create these Departments.

Would you co-sponsor resolutions to dissolve the Federal Department of Education and programs such as No Child Left Behind, high stakes testing and Common Core? Carlos indicated that if you get rid of the Department of Education, then you don’t need these things. The House can delink funding and demand that the funding go to the States.

Overall, Bear Witness Central recognizes that Carlos Beruff not only understands the threat, dynamics and coercive strategies used to further a Global Collectivist Government, he clearly sees how this movement has been destroying the United States. He sees the destruction to our economic system through de-industrialization and redistribution of wealth policies, the undermining of the social structure and moral fabric of the American culture, and the perversion of our political system through unconstitutional government over-reach. This includes the purposeful indoctrination of our children by means of subversive educational policy like Common Core and its predecessors. His answers clearly indicated not only a thorough understanding of the issues and policies, but also the willingness to serve the “people” rather than the established elite. Carlos Beruff made it clear he is committed to protecting American Sovereignty, initiating or supporting the repeal of regulations to restore private sector industrialization “opportunities” for all, not just a select few, and to serving in the interests of the American People, including the protection of the unalienable right to life, liberty and property.”
