The CEO of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the latest martyr in the Wikileaks DNC email scandal.Amy Dacey privately resigned Tuesday, only a week after DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz publicly announced her departure.

Three Democratic strategists confirmed the resignation to the Associated Press, adding that other personnel moves were also expected after Tuesday.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s resignation resulted in supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders shouting Schultz down from a stage where she attempted to address the Florida delegation to the DNC in Philadelphia. Shortly after her resignation, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton announced that Schultz had an open position with her campaign as chairperson of running a nationwide effort to elect Democrats down the ticket.

Dacey served as CEO of the DNC for well over two years after running the strategic group Emily’s List as its executive director. Dacey started in politics early, working on her first campaign at 8 years old. Under Dacey’s leadership, the DNC worked to increase its data mining capabilities, among other notable achievements.

“If you build on that cycle after cycle, in terms of the direct, on-the-ground voter engagement, you’re going to have more rich data,” Dacey told Business Insider earlier this year. “And that’s certainly where you’re going to have a more competitive advantage, and it’s a multimillion-dollar investment from us, and we’ve been doing that for a while now.”

As of press time, it is unclear who will take the reigns of the Democratic party. The Clinton campaign made significant changes to party operations, with media communications outsourced to media relations firm SKDKnickerbocker, and the research department’s move to the campaign’s Brooklyn headquarters in July.

A replacement for Dacey has not been announced.
