BREAKING: MISSING Hillary emails just released….

Hillary-Clinton-012-1000x640Even as Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton continues to lie about her lying about her emails, the fallout continues around her. Late this afternoon, the Associated Press dropped the latest: Hillary’s State Department has just turned over 44 previously-unreleased email exchanges.

You may recall that after Hillary claimed to have turned over “all” of her emails from her tenure as Secretary of State, many found it odd that there were none from her first three months in office — reminiscent, to some, of President Nixon’s infamous 18 1/2 minute gap that was instrumental to his downfall.

Today, 44 new emails from that first three months have been released, thanks to the efforts of government watchdog group Judicial Watch. (Guess when Hillary said “all” her emails were turned over, it depended on what one’s definition of “all” was.)

As the Associated Press reports:

The State Department has turned over 44 previously-unreleased Hillary Clinton email exchanges that the Democratic presidential nominee failed to include among the 30,000 private messages she turned over to the government last year. They show her interacting with lobbyists, political and Clinton Foundation donors and business interests as secretary of state.

The conservative legal group Judicial Watch obtained the emails as part of its lawsuit against the State Department. They cover Clinton’s first three months as secretary of state in early 2009, a period for which Clinton did not turn over any emails to the State Department last year. The government found the newly disclosed messages during a search of agency computer files from longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

In one instance, Clinton exchanged messages with a senior Morgan Stanley investment executive whom she met with later that year at her office in Washington. They were among 246 pages of Abedin messages turned over to Judicial Watch.

The emails are separate from a larger batch of several thousand work-related emails that FBI officials recovered from Clinton’s private server. Clinton’s legal team turned over more than 30,000 emails from her server to the State Department last March but only after deleting another 30,000 messages that Clinton’s team deemed private and personal. The FBI plans to turn over the reconstructed Clinton emails to the State Department for public release.

Other emails released today reveal some of the ties between the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s State Department — including emails from the Clinton Foundation asking the State Department to “take care of” a controversial multi-million dollar Clinton Foundation donor and for an unnamed associate, as the Daily Caller reports.

The April 2009 exchanges will likely raise more questions about conflicts of interest between the former secretary of state and her family charity — at least by those of us still monitoring this issue, even as the Clinton campaign oh-so wishes it would go away already.

Naturally, Clinton campaign officials did not immediately answer questions about the issue. With the FBI investigation behind them, what difference, at this point, does it make? They will no doubt blame others for continuing to keep this alive — when, in fact, it might have died already had she and her team just been as transparent as they profess to be.

Meanwhile, the release of 44 new emails can’t help but make one wonder: how many more remain undisclosed? And, more importantly, why?
