trump speech in detroitMr. Trump in his speech in Detroit Michigan proposed widespread tax cuts for both individuals and corporations. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Monday outlined a proposal to allow families to deduct child-care spending from their income taxes as part of a broader effort to slash taxes. Making child-care expenses fully deductible.  Mr. Trump’s economic-policy message included placing greater curbs on trade and immigration, coupled with a large tax cut.  He would cut the number of federal income tax brackets from seven to three and reduce the top rate to 33 percent from 39.6 percent. His economic message promised to boost job growth.  Mr. Trump also called for a temporary moratorium on all new regulations from federal agencies and would seek to roll back rules that reduce employment.  He will review a series of environmental rules issued by the Environmental Protection Agency to curb carbon-dioxide emissions from power plants and that bring more waterways and wetlands under federal protection.  This speech on the economy came after a 13-man team of economic advisers held their first conference call Sunday.   Trump vowed to rewrite some international trade deals, including NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico, that was signed into law in 1994 by Hillary Clinton’s husband.
