The email leaks keep on coming, and with them, fresh bombshells about the woman who hopes to replace President Barack Obama in just a few short months.
Last evening, private emails from former Secretary of State Colin Powell were leaked by DCLeaks.com, an anonymously managed website that shares hacked emails from U.S. military and political figures. The website has a relationship with Guccifer 2.0, the hacker who’s previously leaked Democrat National Committee emails, as well as some from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Included in the batch of emails leaked Tuesday is this veritable bombshell about the topic of the week: Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s health.

One of the biggest bombshells in the leaked Colin Powell emails is the news that Democratic senator Sheldon Whitehouse informed a Democratic donor that Hillary’s health is so bad that she “could barely climb the podium steps” during an event they both attended.
“Sheldon Whitehouse, who is a huge Clinton supporter, said they were both giving speeches at the same event a few months back and she could barely climb the podium steps,” Democratic financier Jeffery Leeds said in an email discussion with George W. Bush’s former secretary of state.
The emails were dated March 14, 2015, and first reported by The Intercept.
“On HD TV she doesn’t look good,” Powell wrote. “She is working herself to death.”
Of course, the mention of Hillary having trouble climbing the stairs was famously captured in they widely circulated photo:
Amazingly — and yet, not surprising, considering the players — the wake of Sunday’s “medical episode” — in which the “conspiracy theories” around Hillary Clinton’s health went mainstream — which has dominated headlines this week, now the campaign and the left is attempting to portray Hillary’s “working herself to death” as something she has to do because of the sexism in this race.
For example, Clinton News Network reports Christiane Amanpour lamented on Hillary’s behalf:
“Can’t a girl have a sick day or two? Don’t get me started, because when it comes to overqualified women having to try 100 times harder than under-qualified men to get a break, well, we know that story.”
So, of course, genuine concerns about this presidential candidate’s health are now being diminished by claims of sexism — the ol’ ‘poor Hillary’ card being played once again. Don’t get ME (Michelle Jesse) started…
Somehow, I don’t think the inability to climb steps is a function of simply “working too hard”; clearly, it suggests something more sinister and fundamental at play here.
The campaign’s — and the left in general’s — continued attempts to diminish and obfuscate the truth should only reinforce the suspicion that they truly have something to hide.
