âWe were all crying during our joint interview. We all looked at each other and said, âMy goodness we are all here together and we felt like it was a great thing,’â Broaddrick told The Daily Caller Sunday night after she, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and Kathy Shelton held a press conference with Donald Trump before Trumpâs second debate with Hillary Clinton at Washington University.
Broaddrick was critical of the questions reporters asked at the press conference saying, âWe were all asking why arenât they asking Bill Clinton the same thing.â
Many have known about former President Bill Clintonâs sexual harassment scandals involving Willey as well as Jones that were first reported in the 1990âs. However, Sheltonâs story, which goes back to 1975 when a 41-year old drifter raped her on the side of a rural desolate road in Arkansas, was only revealed in the last few years.
Shelton agreed to be named years later because her rapistâs attorney was none other than Hillary Clinton, who attacked Sheltonâs credibility even though Clinton knew her attacker was guilty. Mrs. Clinton laughed about the case later in a taped interview.
âIt brought tears to my eyes when we heard Kathy Shelton speak. We all know her story now. She suffered. She was in a coma. And Hillary Clinton laughed about getting this man off that brutally raped this young girl. We all just felt so bad for what Hilary did to her,â Broaddrick said.
As far as Mrs. Clintonâs reaction to Donald Trumpâs 2005 sexually charged remarks, Broaddrick had this to say:
âWell I think itâs absolutely absurd when she has protected a rapist all of these years. How can she make those comments about some words somebody spoke when she has protected Bill Clinton and enabled him?â
