An Iman with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood is the main plaintiff opposing Trump’s travel ban in Hawaii

Ismail Elshikh, who was born in Egypt and is the Imam of a Muslim Brotherhood-connected mosque in Honolulu, Hawaii, said he is suffering “irreparable harm” by President Donald J. Trump’s temporary travel ban.

In 1928, Hassan al-Banna founded the terrorist organization Ikhwan or the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This radical terror organization has been banned in Egypt, Bahrain, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Russia and the United Arab Emirates but operates freely in America. The Muslim Brotherhood is a transnational Sunni Islamic organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood well-known is slogan is the following: “God is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of God is our highest hope. God is greater!” How can America allow this terror organization and its many fronts to operate in America?

Imam Ismail Elshikh, who leads a mosque with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, is the main plaintiff in the Hawaii case blocking President Trump’s revised temporary travel ban. During the presidential campaign Donald J. Trump talked about declaring the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. Now it is a Muslim Brotherhood-backed imam who is playing a key role in blocking his executive order on immigration.

Imam Ismail Elshikh, 39, is the leader of the largest mosque in Hawaii and claims he is suffering “irreparable harm” from the president’s executive order. This order places a 90-day ban on travel to the United Sates from six countries. One of those six countries is war-torn Syria. Elshikh’s mother-in-law is Syrian and would not be able to visit her family in Hawaii for 90 days if Trump’s ban were allowed to go into effect.

State Attorney of Hawaii Doug Chin, right, is standing in this picture with Imam Ismail Elshikh and others from the Muslim Association of Hawaii.

The majority of Hawaii’s 5,000 Muslims attend Imam Ismail Elshikh’s mosque, the Muslim Association of Hawaii, which is located in a residential area of Manoa, Honolulu. The mosque, despite its ties to the terror and subversive radical organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, is fighting President Trump temporary travel ban with the help of State Attorney of Hawaii, Doug Chin, and Derrick K. Watson, an Obama-appointed federal judge who was Obama’s classmate in Harvard Law School.

Muslim Association of Hawaii mosque with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in Honolulu has thousands of Muslims attending its services.

Imam Elshikh was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, the home base of the Muslim Brotherhood. The stated goal of this terrorist organization is to spread Shariah law throughout the world and its slogan is the Qur’an is our law and Jihad is our way. Imam Elshikh is living in the United States with a green card, which gives him permanent legal status.

The North American Islamic Trust (NAIT)

The evidence that the Muslim Association of Hawaii mosque has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood is found in the court records of Honolulu County, which lists the deed holder as the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). The North American Islamic Trust is based in Plainfield, Indiana, and owns many Islamic properties in North America.

Wikipedia reported that many Muslim organizations founded by Islamic immigrants who came to America during the 1960s have roots in the Muslim Students Association (MSA). It is well known that MSA is a Muslim Brotherhood front.

Beginning in the 1970s, NAIT helped provide Islamic college and university students with mosques so they could continue to worship Islam. NAIT serves as the trustee of approximately 200 Islamic centers, mosques, and schools. The properties of those mosques are estimated to be worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars. NAIT holds the titles of over 325 properties in 42 states. The organization also holds the deeds of about one-fourth of the mosques in America. NAIT says it “does not administer these institutions nor interfere with their daily management, but is available to support and advise them regarding their operation in conformity with the Shariah.”

Wikipedia said that many NAIT-supported mosques have been involved in terrorist activities. One of these mosques was the Islamic Academy of Florida in Hillsborough County, Florida. Sami Al-Arian founded this mosque in 1992. The Islamic Academy of Florida was described in a 2003 federal indictment as the headquarters of a terrorist cell working on behalf of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. This terror group was responsible for the murders of more than 100 people. The federal indictment stated that the Academy of Florida’s offices were used to communicate with Islamic Jihad operatives. On March 2, 2006, Al-Arian entered a guilty plea to a charge of conspiracy to help the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization. Al-Arian was sentenced to 57 months in prison and ordered to be deported following his prison term.

Wikipedia reported that in August 2004 Mohammed M. Hossain and Yassin M. Aref, two leaders of a mosque in Albany, were arrested on charges that they took part in, what they thought, was a plot to import a shoulder-fired missile and assassinate a Pakistani diplomat in New York City. They were convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2007. In 2007, federal prosecutors brought charges against Holy Land Foundation for allegedly funding terrorist activities of Hamas and other Islamic terrorist organizations. NAIT was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case, along with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).

On July 1, 2009, U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis upheld NAIT’s designation as an unindicted co-conspirator, though he ruled that it should not have been made public. He determined there is “ample” evidence tying NAIT to Hamas. The Holy Land Foundation, for example, transferred money to Hamas through a joint NAIT/ISNA bank account.

Wikipedia stated the following: “Other terrorism-connected mosques controlled by NAIT include: the Islamic Society of Boston, where a dozen terrorists have worshipped, including the 2013 Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev; Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where worshippers included two ISIS-inspired terrorists who attacked a Dallas-area event in 2015; and Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, where some of the 9/11 hijackers worshipped and got help obtaining IDs and housing, followed by the 2009 Fort Hood shooter and several other terrorists who have attended the mosque just outside Washington.”

The website WND reported that NAIT is closely linked to other Muslim Brotherhood-linked entities. It was founded in Indiana in 1973 by the Muslim Students Association and is today a “constituent organization” of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). Both have Muslim Brotherhood origins. Declassified FBI memos dated 1987-1988 show that agency investigators identified NAIT as a foreign-financed Muslim Brotherhood front.

WND said that an FBI memo states the following: “As reported above by [name redacted] the IIIT [International Institute of Islamic Thought], NAIT, ISNA and various other Muslim organizations under the direction and control of the IKHWAN [Muslim Brotherhood] in the United States has as its ultimate goal political control of all non-Islamic governments in the world.”

WND reported the following: “The same FBI memo cites a source that has traveled worldwide on orders of NAIT, ISNA and the International Institute of Islamic Thought. He is convinced that this organization has a secret agenda which includes the spread of the Islamic Revolution to all non-Islamic governments in the world which does include the United States. He said that the entire organization is structured, controlled and funded by followers and supporters of the Islamic Revolution as advocated by the founders of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Another 1987 FBI memo states that many leaders of NAIT support the Iranian Islamic Revolution and the group receives money from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Libya, Kuwait and other Middle Eastern countries. It says NAIT is financing those seeking a separate black nation in the U.S. and have also indicated their support of terrorism in the U.S. to further the revolution. NAIT is supporting Jihad in the U.S.”

NAIT’s Islamic Book Service has advertised “Milestones” by Sayyid Qutb, the Muslim Brotherhood preacher who inspired Osama Bin Laden, as a “top seller.” John Guandolo, a former FBI counter-terrorism specialist and now private consultant to law enforcement, said all mosques under the “Muslim Association of” moniker are typically affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. But instead of banning the Brotherhood, the U.S. is letting a Brotherhood-backed imam dictate U.S. refugee and visa policy, Guandolo said.

The website Discover the Networks stated the following: “Because NAIT controls the purse strings of these many properties, it can exercise ultimate authority over what they teach and what activities they conduct. Specifically, the Trust seeks to ensure that the institutions under its financial influence promote the principles of Sharia law and Wahhabism.”

The Trump administration has said it is considering banning the Muslim Brotherhood in America by including it on the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations. President Trump’s secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, described the Muslim Brotherhood as “an agent of radical Islam.”

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton stated to Breitbart News in February 2017 that the United States should declare the Brotherhood a terrorist organization. Bolton sated the following: “The fact is, the Brotherhood is a front for terrorism. A number of Arab majority-Muslim countries, like Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have already designated it as a terrorist organization. I’ve had Muslim leaders from the Middle East say to me, ‘Are you people blind to what’s going on right in front of you and the role that the Brotherhood performs, really on an international basis?’”

The unconstitutional ruling made by U.S. federal judge Derrick K. Watson

On March 15, 2017, Derrick K. Watson, 50, an Obama-appointed federal judge stroke President Trump’s temporary travel ban Executive Order. Judge Watson graduated from Harvard Law School along with former President Barack Obama. The six nations on Trump’s list for a 90-day moratorium on visas and a 120-day pause on refugee resettlement are Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and Somalia.

In an unconstitutional ruling, federal judge Derrick Watson ruled that President Trump’s temporary 90-day ban on travel to the United States from six countries amounted to a “Muslim ban.” Doug Chin, Hawaii’s Attorney General, along with co-plaintiff Imam Elshikh, claimed the ban would irreparably harm the state’s tourism industry and its Muslim families.

This successful lawsuit alleged the following: That the Executive Order subjects portions of the State’s population, including Imam Elshikh and his family, to discrimination in violation of both the Constitution denying them their right, among other things, to associate with family members overseas on the basis of their religion and national origin. The State purports that the Executive Order has injured its institutions, economy, and sovereign interest in maintaining the separation between church and state.”

Judge Derrick K. Watson’s language was very harsh. He severely criticized the government for its “illogic” and for presenting arguments he said were “not true.” In addition to stopping the Trump administration from enforcing the travel ban, Judge Watson described Donald J. Trump’s past comments about Muslims as “remarkable” evidence that his order was motivated by animus toward a religious faith. Judge Watson believes Iranians, Sudanese, Libyans, Syrians, Somalis, and Yemenis have the same constitutional rights as American citizens

The unconstitutional decision, issued just hours before President Trump’s travel ban was to go into effect, resulted in an angry response from the president. At a rally in Tennessee on that same day, President Donald J. Trump accused Judge Watson of acting “for political reasons” and stated that the ruling “makes us look weak.”

Did Obama visit Judge Derrick K. Watson prior to his ruling?

A source close to the former president stated to the Daily Mail that Obama’s ultimate goal was to force Trump to step down, either through resignation or impeachment, and that the former president is “dismayed at the way Trump is tearing down his legacy—ObamaCare, the social safety net and the welcome mat for refugees he put in place.” Obama has created a nerve center in his mansion just two miles from the White House, which is serving as a war room for his bid to lead an “insurgency” against Trump to sabotage his presidency. How long is President Donald J. Trump going to tolerate Obama’s shadow government that undermines his presidency?

The RedStateWatcher website reported that Obama met with Judge Derrick K. Watson a day before his unconstitutional decision. InfoWars, Geteway Pundit, and bwcentral.org websites reported that former President Barack Obama visited Hawaii two days before the ruling by the federal judge.

On March 16, 2017, Jim Hoft wrote an article titled “Obama Paid Surprise Visit to Hawaii 48 Hours before Hawaii Judge Rules against Trump Temporary Refugee Ban (Updated)” which was published by the website Gateway Pundit. The reporter explained that former President Barack Obama made a surprise visit to Honolulu, Hawaii on March 13, 2017, just two days before U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson, who presides in Honolulu, ruled against President Trump’s temporary refugee ban from six Middle East nations.

Hoft stated the following: “Coming off a string of high-profile meetings, former President Barack Obama made an unannounced return to Hawaii. Just three months removed from his last official holiday visit as president, Obama was spotted dining at Buzz’s Lanikai Monday night. Local Democrats tried their best to keep it under wraps the whole day.”

Paul Joseph Watson wrote an article on March 16, 2017 entitled “Coincidence? Obama Makes Surprise Visit to Hawaii 48 hours Before Judge Blocks Trump Travel Ban” which was published by the InfoWars website. Watson explained that the decision by U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson in Hawaii to block President Donald Trump’s travel ban was announced less than 48 hours after Barack Obama made a surprise visit to Honolulu. This surprise visit by the former president has led some to speculate that Obama may have plotted with the judge, who he originally appointed. Derrick Watson was nominated by Obama as federal judge in November 2012, having graduated from Harvard law school in the same year as Obama.

Watson reported that the newspaper Honolulu Star wrote that Obama “made an unannounced return to Hawaii Monday, March 13, 2017 just three months after his last official holiday visit as president, arriving with a small entourage that included a Secret Service detail. Obama had dinner at the Noi Thai restaurant, which is just minutes away from the courthouse and that Obama was “likely within five minutes of the judge’s house at one point on the drive over.” Watson concluded his article by stating that “Given that Obama appointed the judge, graduated in the same year as him and visited Honolulu and was within minutes of the judge less than 48 hours before Judge Watson made a major ruling that blocked Trump’s travel ban, it doesn’t take a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist to insinuate that the two could have met.”

The rulings by the federal judge in Hawaii and by a Maryland federal judge blocking President Trump’s executive order temporarily banning travel to the United States from six countries are clearly unconstitutional. Under the law the president may ban foreigners from entering America.

The hypocrisy of these judges as well as of the Democrats in Congress is immense as both presidents Obama and Carter blocked entrance to the nation of citizens from Iraq and Iran for several months and no one complained. These federal judges and the Democrats will have blood on their hands if someone from these six countries, which are full of Islamic terrorists, kills or injures Americans.

The Trump administration has said it is considering banning the Muslim Brotherhood in America by including it on the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations. President Trump’s secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, described the Muslim Brotherhood as “an agent of radical Islam.” President Trump needs to work with Congress to expedite the bill to ban the Muslim Brotherhood and its many front organizations in the nation.
