CNN Deploys Nun To Push Socialism – VIDEO

“God is always on the side of the poor,” said Sister Erica Jordan to Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) during Monday’s CNN-hosted “town hall” event in Racine, WI.

CNN deployed a Dominican nun to push class warfare during the aforementioned event, which was hosted by CNN’s Jake Tapper, framing Christian godliness as aligned with state-driven redistributive wealth programs in pursuit of economic egalitarianism.

Jordan implied that a person’s morality or virtue is somehow inversely related to his or her wealth. She also framed Republicans — not Democrats — as unwilling to “stand with the poor and working class” by opposing socialistic policies:

Good evening, Mr. Speaker. I know that you’re Catholic, as am I, and it seems to me that most of the Republicans in the Congress are not willing to stand with the poor and working class as evidenced in the recent debates about health care and the anticipated tax reform.

So I’d like to ask you how you see yourself upholding the church’s social teaching that has the idea that God is always on the side of the poor and dispossessed, as should we be.

Ryan’s response did not include commentary on personal responsibility, moral agency or moral hazard. He did note, however, that existing “welfare” programs often discourage their ostensible beneficiaries from pursuing and securing employment.
