DISARMING AMERICA?

Ever since the Sandy Hook shooting, and now with the Las Vegas massacre, the gun control advocates have been pushing with great force their gun control agenda. So how important is it to have a gun anyway? Do Americans really need to have guns? Why in the world would any person need an assault rifle for crying out loud? Isn’t it over kill? (No pun intended… )

It has become a controversial subject even amongst conservatives. This is concerning. If conservatives are having the debate, this means conservatives are losing sight of their history and why we have the Second Amendment to begin with. Because of this, it merits shedding some light on a subject that is of such great importance.

Let’s first start with the language: “gun control”. Gun control is the phrase created by the Left to masquerade “disarmament”. It’s really that simple. The phrase “gun control” was coined as a category B slogan of Newspeak, a term coined by George Orwell (a devout and committed socialist) which “consisted of words which were deliberately constructed for political purposes”. The slogan was designed to “disarm” critical thinking skills”. Remember, it’s the Left that is pushing for disarmament not the Right. Those who wish us harm (the Left) have decided that the next step for America is to disarm its citizens. So the real issue is citizen disarmament. Readers, you must understand that the Left is at “war” with America… and I’m not being figurative here. Their interest and goal is simply one thing: the overthrow of our liberty-based constitutional form of Government, where faith, values and morality are the foundations. They “plan” on replacing it with tyranny, an Oligarchy of the elite. Everything they do is for this sole purpose. Democratic constituents will disagree and some conservatives disagree. Whether they do or not does not matter. This is the reality of where we are today! We have already been invaded and the invaders have taken control of our Government and institutions of influence over the last 40 years. The only thing stopping them from bringing in the troops in is: Americans are armed and that right is protected (not given) by the United States Constitution.

Our founders understood that armed citizens were the only solution to protecting and securing Liberty. George Washington said: “A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” Noah Webster, a signer of the Declaration of Independence also said: “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe.” Patrick Henry said: “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…. The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun.” Samuel Adams said: “The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.” Thomas Jefferson said: “The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” He also said: “The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.” And again Thomas Jefferson said: “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” And again: “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”

Icons of the Left also understood that armed citizens were the only solution to protecting and securing Liberty. Hitler said: “The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to permit the conquered Eastern peoples to have arms. History teaches that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by doing so. Indeed I would go so far as to say that the underdog is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let’s not have any native militia or police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order.(1)” Joseph Stalin said: “If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.” Vladimir Lenin said: “One man with a gun can control 100 without one.” Joseph Stalin also said: “The only real power comes out of a long rifle.” Vladimir Lenin said: “A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership to the bourgeoisie.”

From history we learn that armed citizens “are” the only solution to protecting and securing Liberty. Here are some examples:

1. Nazi Germany established gun control in 1938 enabling the government to round up 13 million defenseless Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, mentally ill and impaired human beings, imprisoning them in concentration camps, and by a conscious process of attrition, destroyed them.

2. The Turkish Ottoman Empire established gun control in 1911, proceeding then to exterminate 1.5 million Armenians from 1914 – 1917.

3. The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. Subsequently from 1928 – 1953, 60 million dissidents were imprisoned and then exterminated.

4. China. Gun control laws were enacted in 1935. Between 1948 – 1952, 20 million Chinese, unable to defend themselves, were likewise murdered.

5. In the United States the first gun control laws were enacted during the Civil War era to prevent guns from falling into the hands of black slaves who might be inclined to attack their masters and thereby keeping control in the hands of the latter.

6. Guatemala. Gun control laws were passed in 1964: as a result, between 1964 – 1981, 100,000 defenseless Mayan Indians met their deaths.

7. Uganda. Established gun control measures in 1970. Predictably, from 1971 – 1979, 300,000 defenseless Christians met a similar fate.

8. Cambodia. Established gun control measures in 1956, subsequently from 1957 – 1977 one million Cambodians met their deaths.

George Orwell said: “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

Should I go on? Debating the statistics in regards to gun ownership and gun violence (which by the way are stacked against the disarmament advocates by a large margin) really are irrelevant and are the wrong argument. If we are to defend the “Constitutional protection” of our right to be armed, we must learn and study the history of our founding and the “intent” of the Founding Fathers with regard to the 2nd Amendment.

On Christmas Eve, 2012 (yes, Christmas Eve) the United Nations voted to reconsider the Global Arms Trade Treaty, which the United States Senate failed, in their eyes, to ratify July of 2012.  This is the reason why we are seeing the fierce debate over gun control. It’s not the Sandy Hooks shooting, Las Vegas shooting and the other shootings. These incidents are being used as the excuse to justify it and gun control. This is a dangerous treaty. It must not be ratified under any pretense. Americans should stand against any efforts to regulate arms.
