France: ISIS Claims Marseille Terror Attack

‘Unidentified’ terrorist screamed “Allahu Akbar” while beheading and stabbing French women.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the Sunday’s terror attack in the French city of Marseille that killed two women, aged 17 and 20. The unnamed Islamist slit the throat of one victim and fatally stabbed another while shouting “Allahu Akbar” before being shot by a soldier at the city’s main railway station.

The attacker, suspected of being of Muslim-Algerian descent, is yet to be identified. “The suspect, thought to be aged 25 to 30, was known to authorities for common law crimes while analysis of his fingerprints came up with several aliases,” UK newspaper Daily Mail reported.

The massive influx of illegal immigrants, mostly young men from Arab and Muslim countries, following the Migrant Crisis of 2015 has been accompanied with a sharp rise in Islamist terror attack across Europe. Terrorists have taken more than 230 lives in France since 2015. In November 2015, Paris was hit by series of coordinated terror attacks that killed 130 people. Following year, an Islamist drove a truck into a crowd of revelers in the city of Nice, killing 86. Germany, UK and Belgium have suffered similar terrorist attacks as well.

French broadcaster France24 reported:

The two victims – one aged 17 and the other 20 – suffered extensive injuries, two police sources said, saying one had her throat slit while the other was stabbed in the stomach.

Three police sources said the suspect had shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest) as he carried out the attack.

Some 200 police officers had cordoned off the area and all roads were closed to traffic, with security forces saying the operation was still ongoing.

The IS group claimed the attack through a statement posted by its Amaq propaganda agency late Sunday, according to the SITE monitoring group.

It quoted a security source as saying: “The executor of the stabbing operation in the city of Marseille … is from the soldiers of the Islamic State.”

“The murderer had eight different aliases. Each time he was stopped, he presented a different identity paper. That’s why it’s so difficult. At one moment, he says he was born in France, at another he says he was born in Algeria,” Reuters news agency reported.

The bureaucratic chaos ensuing from the aftermath of the Migrant Crisis that began in September 2015 has made it very easy for illegal immigrants to secure multiple identification papers from European authorities. These false identities are often used by the migrants to collect multiple welfare payments, but they come just as handy in criminal and terrorist activities. The Berlin Christmas market attacker who drove a truck loaded with 20 tonnes of steel beams into a busy shopping lane – killing 20, the Tunisian Islamist Anis Amri, had 14 different identities.

With French and European ruling class dogmatically wedded to the notion of open border for immigrants, the threat of Islamic terrorism is destined to grow even further. France already has around 15,000 radical Muslims on its terrorism watch list. The country has been forced to build 15,000 new prison cells and expand its domestic surveillance network to cope this growing threat. Similar trends are visible in the UK, Germany and Belgium as well.
