Another sickening crime by an illegal alien has taken the life of an 18-year-old high school student.
In Greenville, South Carolina, the body of Dianna Martinez-Gonzalez, an 11th grader at Greenville High School, was found in some woods about 300 yards from a roadway near a dam. She was found with a gunshot wound to the head after her friend made a “frantic” call to police.
When they arrived on scene, they immediately located a male suspect who matched the friend’s description. He was taken into custody and later identified as 19-year-old Daniel De Jesus Rangel-Sherrer. Police say the suspect willfully confessed to the murder. Upon further investigation, it was learned that Rangel-Sherrer had already held another victim against her will but she was able to get away. The suspect was charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and kidnapping, WISTV reports.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent said the suspect is a Mexican national who was living in the United States illegally, but had been protected from deportation by former President Obama’s DACA program for illegal minors. ICE issued a detainer against Rangel-Sherrer, who remains behind bars at the Greenville County Detention Center until his next hearing. A judge denied bond, but too bad no one thought to deny him entry into our country in the first place.
