SMOKING GUN: San Juan Teamsters Didn’t Show Up for Work to Distribute Relief Supplies – US Aid ROTTING at Ports

President Trump accused San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz of playing politics on Saturday when she delivered an ‘emotional‘ speech and accused his administration of “killing” Puerto Rico’s people – and he was right – it’s Cruz who is killing the people.

She made her impassioned plea while standing in front of pallets of US aid from the mainland.

The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

9,500 containers of aid supplies at the San Juan port have not been moved due to a lack of truck drivers, a fuel shortage and damaged infrastructure after Hurricane Maria

Now we know why the people have no aid.
The Teamsters Union drivers did not show up to work.
Only 20% of drivers arrived at the ports to distribute the relief supplies.

Puerto Rican born and raised, Colonel Michael A. Valle (”Torch”), Commander, 101st Air and Space Operations Group, and Director of the Joint Air Component Coordination Element, 1st Air Force, responsible for Hurricane Maria relief efforts, has the following comment:

…They have the generators, water, food, medicine, and fuel on the ground, yet the supplies are not moving across the island as quickly as they’re needed.

“It’s a lack of drivers for the transport trucks, the 18 wheelers. Supplies we have. Trucks we have. There are ships full of supplies, backed up in the ports, waiting to have a vehicle to unload into. However, only 20% of the truck drivers show up to work. These are private citizens in Puerto Rico, paid by companies that are contracted by the government”.. (link)

The union is reportedly not allowing drivers to remove goods from the Port of San Juan.

Did mayor of San Juan mention union workers at port are on STRIKE & demanding money first before distributing supplies off boat? #amjoy

The relief bottleneck was out of the Port of San Juan.

Big number of semis now pulling out of Port of San Juan — this was the relief bottleneck for Puerto Rico. https://t.co/xIj5J2T5vJ

President Trump was right…

Fake News CNN and NBC are going out of their way to disparage our great First Responders as a way to “get Trump.” Not fair to FR or effort!

The Fake News Networks are working overtime in Puerto Rico doing their best to take the spirit away from our soldiers and first R’s. Shame!

The Daily Mail reported that White House Director of Social Media Dan Scavino Jr tweeted that Cruz was dramatizing the situation in Puerto Rico because she did not like the president before the storm.

He screenshotted tweets in Spanish that were critical of the president, writing: ‘San Juan, PR Mayor has been hating on @realDonaldTrump long before he was our President. I’m not surprised by the show she is putting on…’

President Trump will visit Puerto Rico on Tuesday to personally witness the damage Hurricane Maria has caused the island and its people and I am sure he will have choice words for Mayor Cruz.
