Poll: 77% Say President Trump Should Fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller

U.S. special counsel Robert Mueller (Reuters/Photo) OAN Newsroom A new poll reveals a vast majority of Americans want the president to fire special counsel Robert Mueller. The Drudge Report survey shows 77 percent of respondents believe President Trump should oust the special counsel. The president has yet to meet with Mueller, but it’s been rumored a sit down could happen soon. President Trump has been a harsh critic of Mueller and has repeatedly claimed he never colluded with Russia.

A Regular Guy:

That would not be my plan… I would (have) done the following:
1. Mr. special counsel – you have 1 year for this work to be completed.
2. Within that one year ( A whole 52 weeks) you need to show what progress you have made.
3. If upon or within that 1st year you find something so compelling that you need more time,
then that will be addressed and a new time cap will be established.

The goal is not to continue to look and look and sniff for perhaps something, but find/prove you actually have something. The stuff you found so far ( the Russians at work) seems sufficient to say job done. So, can you show an unbiased panel that you believe there is more stuff under the rock, or will you just keep on turning over rocks till you find something?

I ‘get’ lawyers are driven by billable hours… 10 months & 2 days have elapsed since the ‘ignition on’ of the investigation. Lets not make a career out of this thing.

7344 hours elapsed X 16 lawyers + a total staff of over three dozen.

43 weeks X 50 hr weeks X 16 lawyers x $300 / hr ( i am being generous ) = ~ $10.3 million in legal fees

Hummm…. how many lawyers does it take to screw in a lightbulb? 1 to hold the bulb and 15 to sue the ladder manufacturer.
