“I’m Burning My Nikes” – Americans Launch Boycott Against Nike After Colin Kaepernick Named as Face of 30th Anniversary.

On Monday, Nike revealed they selected former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to be the face of its 30th anniversary of its ‘Just Do It’ campaign.

Nike posted a close up picture of Kaepernick’s face with a caption that read, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt”

Colin Kaepernick ruined the NFL after he started the National Anthem boycott by ‘taking a knee.’

He made headlines in 2016 when he wouldn’t stand for the National Anthem because of cops.

NFL ratings have plummeted since Kaepernick’s National Anthem boycott. Stadiums often have rows and rows of empty seats because Americans are fed up with the politicization of football.

Now it’s Nike’s turn.

Americans launched a boycott against Nike after finding out Kaepernick was chosen to be the face of its campaign.

One man tweeted a video of his Nikes burning with a caption that read, “First the forces me to choose between my favorite sport and my country. I chose country. Then forces me to choose between my favorite shoes and my country. Since when did the American Flag and the National Anthem become offensive?”

Another man tweeted a video of himself putting five pairs of his Nikes into a fire.

A former Marine posted a photo of Nike socks with “the swoosh cut off.”

Geraldo Rivera chimed in and called Nike the New Coke.
