Manchester United have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their Europa League semi-final with Sevilla.

United flew out to Cologne, Germany last week with a 30-man squad but regulars Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof were rested from the start of their extra-time win over Copenhagen in Monday’s quarter-final.

Matic and Lindelof both emerged against the Danes and Bruno Fernandes succumbed to cramp at the end of the exhausting evening but United have no new casualties.

“We’ve had a few good days now preparing, both recovering, preparing and training,” manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said. “It’s not very often that we have six days between games, so we’re ready.

“We’re physically, definitely ready. Mentally, the boys will be ready because it’s a semi-final and everyone will want to take part and join in. I just want them to enjoy it.”

Meanwhile, United continue to be linked with Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes responds to Eric Cantona comparisons

Bruno Fernandes admits he is flattered by comparisons with Eric Cantona but will only look back fondly on his first season with Manchester United if they win the Europa League.

Fernandes joined United from Sporting Lisbon in a £68million deal in January and has been in totemic form, scoring 11 goals and creating another eight. United did not lose a Premier League game after Fernandes arrived as they rose to third and qualified for the Champions League.

Parallels have been drawn between Fernandes and the impact Eric Cantona had on the club in 1992-93, when he moved to United four months into the campaign and helped them end their 26-year championship drought.

Like Cantona, Fernandes is also nerveless at taking penalties, having converted all seven for United and the 25-year-old is honoured to be likened to one of United’s greatest players.

Manchester United ‘to sell five players this summer’ and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are set to sell five players this summer in order to fund their summer rebuild under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – according to reports.

United are yet to make a major signing in the window but remain in pursuit of Borussia Dortmund superstar Jadon Sancho despite the German club’s claiming the England international will not be sold.

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is also a target but the Midlands club securing Premier League survival on the final day of the season has strengthened their negotiating position.

Alexis Sanchez became the first player to depart earlier this month, completing a permanent transfer to Inter Milan and The Times report five more players are set to leave for good.

How Manchester United should line up vs Sevilla in Europa League semi final

Manchester United are back in Europa League action on Sunday night as they face Sevilla in the last four.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s players are looking to end their season on a high with some silverware and will book their place in next week’s final with victory this weekend.

United have progressed to the final from each of their last four semi-final appearances in major European competition (2007/08, 2008/09 & 2010/11 UEFA Champions League and 2016/17 UEFA Europa League), winning the trophy on two of those four occasions.

In terms of early team news Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones are all out having been omitted from the squad due to injuries but Sergio Romero is expected to start in goal.

Below, our MEN United writers pick their teams to face Sevilla.
