We all need a vacation from our normal lives every now and then, but certainly the President could have picked a better time to fly to Key Largo. Or join up with two celebrities for a round of golf. Or shoot this video with actor Zach Galifianakis to promote Obamacare. Surely.
Crimea is on the brink of being annexed into the Russian federation, unemployment numbers showed an uptick in February, and the President is appearing with celebrities and doing whatever he wants while still hung up on trying to promote – not fix – his signature program, Obamacare. The schmoozing has reached an all-time high, just when Obama needs to be buckling down and fixing problems.
For the past few months, the President has had two settings: Obamacare, or vacation. If the President wants his last years in office to be successful, he needs to do start doing the job of the President, and working on the issues that actually matter.
