Obama´s violations of our Constitution
Barack Obama is a rogue president who has used tyrannical executive orders, executive memoranda, and government regulations to bypass Congress. He has no respect for our Constitution. In 2001, Obama said that “the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties full of constrains imposed upon us by our Founding Fathers.” Obama hates those “constraints” since he wants to govern in a dictatorial manner.
Obama has made our Constitution and Congress irrelevant. Obama announced his “We Can´t Wait” campaign in 2011 by stating the following: “We can´t wait for an increasingly dysfunctional Congress to do its job. Where they won´t act, I will.” Obama has virtually declared him a dictator by announcing that he intends to govern by executive fiat.
At the beginning of his presidency in 2009, Obama destroyed the Constitution separation and balance of powers provisions by naming 45 radical White House czars with enormous powers, among them the communist Van Jones. These czars are not subject to congressional oversight or approval of the Senate. Many of the czars are as powerful as members of the cabinet.
Obama chooses which laws to enforce and which ones to ignore. He has no respect for the rule of law. Obama initiated a federal takeover of education in 44 states that were bribed to adopt the Common Core Curriculum and Standards in violation of the Fourth and Tenth Amendments of the Constitution and various federal laws. Several states have now rejected Common Core and others have postponed it.
The president is waging a war against religion and Christianity in the nation and in the Armed Forces in violation of the First Amendment. He has violated the Fourth Amendment, the right to privacy, with the unprecedented spying on all Americans by the National Security Agency and other federal agencies.
Congress and the states need to file lawsuits when the president violates the Constitution
President Obama made illegal appointments of several radicals to the National Labor Relations Board when the Senate was in session in violation of the provision of the Constitution that requires the advice and consent of the Senate. All 44 Republican senators sued the Obama administration and won in a federal court. The Congress and the states need to file lawsuits each and every time Obama violates the Constitution.
In January 2015, 26 states filed a lawsuit against President Obama’s executive order that gives legal status to millions of undocumented immigrants in the United States. On February 16, 2015 U.S.District Judge Andrew Hanen in Brownsville, Texas allowed the lawsuit to proceed on its merits. In his 50-page opinion, Judge Hanen wrote that “it has been recognized that the resources of the states are drained by the presence of illegal immigrants,” and that “these damages unquestionably continue to grow.” He also stated that Obama’s executive action represented a “genie would be impossible to put back into the bottle”. The court’s injunction came before the president’s executive action took effect on February 18. These immigrants, who entered our country illegally or overstayed their tourist visas, could have applied for legal status.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott filed the original lawsuit and led the charge joined by the other 25 states while he was still serving as attorney general. He stated the following: “President Obama abdicated his responsibility to uphold the United States Constitution when he attempted to circumvent the laws passed by Congress via executive fiat, and Judge Hanen’s decision rightly stops the President’s overreach in its tracks. We live in a nation governed by a system of checks and balances, and the President’s attempt to by-pass the will of the American people was successfully checked today.’”
South Carolina Republican Representative and chairman of the House Immigration Subcommittee, Trey Gowdy, called the decision a “victory for the rule of law,” explaining that Obama’s unilateral order deserved the scrutiny it received. Congressman Gowdy stated the following: “The President’s extra-constitutional actions were rooted in political expediency and were devoid of a serious legal underpinning. This is not and never was about immigration law – as evidenced by the president’s consistent admission that he lacked the legal authority to do precisely what he did.”
While the congressman acknowledged the legitimacy of prosecutorial discretion, Gowdy concluded that it is not “a synonym for anarchy wherein the executive branch can pick and choose portions of laws to enforce and ignore.”
Obama has violated the Constitution repeatedly since he assumed power in January 2009 by issuing executive and memoranda orders and government regulations which have the same effect as laws passed by Congress. Obama has ignored the separation of powers clause of the Constitution..
If Congress and the states would have acted forcefully to defend the Constitution from the very beginning, the Marxist and hidden radical Muslim in the White House, Barack Obama, would not be so out of control. It is obvious that during the rest of his term, he intents do to as he pleases to fulfill his promise to fundamentally transform our nation.
Obama has committed treason and many crimes
President Obama and Secretary Clinton entered into a war in Libya under false pretenses and violated the Constitution since Congress did not authorize it. Later, Obama engaged in a Middle Eastern gun-running operation without Congressional authority and in violation of United States laws. If Congressman Trey Gowdy’s Select Committee on Benghazi does its job properly, it will uncover what my investigative research and that of others found a year ago.
The president violated his oath of office and multiple laws by sending weapons to and working with terrorist groups during the civil war in Libya. He continued to violate laws by later sending weapons from Libya to Turkey knowing that those weapons would eventually fall into the hands of al Qaeda-linked terrorist groups, such as the Islamic State and the al Nusra Front that were fighting in Syria.
Moreover, Obama worked with the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and Muslim nations to engage in a cover-up. This is astounding and alarming. President Obama is a traitor who should be impeached by the House of Representatives and prosecuted by the Senate.
President Obama committed treason, dereliction of duty, and criminal negligence in Libya during the civil war against Qaddafi and for his refusal to save our diplomats and Navy SEALs in Benghazi. President Barack Obama is unfit to be our commander-in-chief and must be impeached by the House of Representatives and the Senate must hold a trial.
The Select Committee needs to investigate not only the terrorist attacks on the mission in Benghazi but also the assistance of the Obama administration to the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood and jihadists during the civil war. The Select Committee needs to investigate the White House cover-up with Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the United States and Muslim nations in the world.
President Obama refuses to use the term Islamic terrorism or Islamic extremist or the War against Terror and has never spoken to the nation of the immense danger that radical Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood present to our national security. New York City’s most outspoken newspaper, The New York Post, wrote on President Barack Obama’s reluctance to call terrorists “Muslim” or “Islamic.” On February 19, 2015, the front page of The New York Post featured Obama blindfolded with the headline, “Islamic terror? I just don’t see it.”
The cover is a reference to Obama’s speech the day before at a White House summit on religious extremism. In the speech, Obama argued against granting jihadist militants, such as the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS or ISIL, “religious legitimacy.”
The New York Post article stated, “They’re burning and beheading victims in the name of Islam, but President Obama delivered a major speech Wednesday on combating violent extremism — while refusing to use the words ‘Muslim terrorists.’”
The repressive Obama regime has persecuted individuals and organizations that have criticized him
The Obama administration, by using several agencies such as the IRS, Justice Department, Labor Department, EPA, and the National Labor Relations Board, has persecuted individuals and conservative and religious organizations that disagree with its misguided policies. This is done in China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba. This culture of intimidation and abuse of power needs to stop and impeachment charges should be considered. The White House keeps an enemy list which is typical of dictatorial fascist and communist regimes.
Obama ignores Congress
Obama has criticized the Supreme Court and does not work in a bipartisan manner with Congress. As Mitt Romney stated, Obama wants Congress to do it his way or the highway. No other president in our history has shown such blatant disrespect for our Constitution. Obama is arrogant and acts as if he was omnipotent in the United States while he really is impotent abroad.
Obama’s party in Congress did not pass a single budget during the president´s first term in office. This is unprecedented in our history. When the Republican-controlled House of Representative would send a budget bill to the Democratic-controlled Senate, Majority Leader Harry Reed refused to discuss it and killed the bill. In this manner, President Obama spends as much as he wants. The federal debt is more than $18 trillion. Obama is taking our nation to a fiscal cliff! Both the Senate and the president are violating the law that requires an annual budget. None of our 50 states has failed to pass an annual budget.
It was unprecedented and highly irregular that ObamaCare was passed without most members of the president´s party reading its 2,700 pages, as directed by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. If they would have read it, the Democrats would have found that it gives the president unlimited power to issue any rule he desires. He will create death panels, ration care for those on Medicare, and basically decide who lives or dies. The 15 individuals who Obama will appoint to his death panel will decide if someone at a certain age should be denied expensive treatment or sent home to die. Obama took $716 billion out of Medicare to partially fund ObamaCare. This action will result in the rationing of Medicare services. Doctors, hospitals, and nursing homes will receive less money once ObamaCare is fully implemented.
The president illegally and unconstitutionally delayed the employer mandate part of ObamaCare since it would have created massive unemployment just before the 2014 mid-term elections. He also illegally delayed the date for implementation of ObamaCare due to the catastrophic failure of the government enrollment website.
Obama cannot unilaterally enforce part of a law passed by Congress and signed by him. According to the Constitution, he must ask Congress to amend the law. Why have the Republicans failed to file a lawsuit or impeachment charges? From the very beginning of his corrupt administration, Obama has been picking and choosing which laws to enforce. According to the Constitution, the Chief Executive or the president of the nation must enforce all the laws of the land. Obama keeps acting as a dictator and no one tries to stop him from systematically dismantling our Constitution. Enough is enough!
Obama, in clear violation of the First Amendment of our Constitution that protects our religious freedom, is forcing all religious organizations to offer abortion, sterilization, and contraceptives to their employees in their insurance plans through a regulation implemented by the Health and Human Services Department. The Catholic Church has filed multiple lawsuits against the Obama administration and has called, for the first time ever, for civil disobedience since this ruling goes against the Bible. Corporations, religious universities, and other institutions have also filed lawsuits over the same issue.
The 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act gives Obama unlimited power to control our country’s financial, banking, and investment sectors. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, created by this law, is not subjected to any oversight by Congress. This is another violation of our Constitution since all federal agencies are subjected to Congressional oversight.
Obama is pushing the Senate to approve a series of treaties of the United Nations that menace our sovereignty and liberty and destroy our Constitution. Among these treaties are Gun Control, the Law of the Sea, Internet Control, Agenda 21, and the International Court of Justice. Obama is taking the nation on the road to a socialist world government under the United Nations and controlled behind the scene by the Council of Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg Group.
Obama has stated that he will issue executive orders and implement any regulation he desires since Congress is not passing the bills he wants. Arrogantly, Obama stated that he has a pen and a telephone and if Congress does not pass the laws he wants, he would issue executive orders as he did with immigration. In six years, he has issued hundreds of executive orders and executive memos at an alarming rate. Since Obama was reelected, Americans are seeing him act as a dictator since he does not have to worry about running for office again. Barack Obama is continuing to implement the radical transformation of our nation and, if he succeeds, achieve the dreams of his Marxist anti- colonialist father.
Obama has attacked free speech since he assumed office
President Obama has been attacking free speech since the beginning of his administration. Obama promised to have an open and transparent administration. However, he has presided over the least transparent administration. The abuses of the freedom of speech and freedom of the press by his administration have been appalling. In fact, Barack Obama committed several crimes as well as Attorney General Eric Holder. Both of them should be prosecuted.
Leonard Downie, former executive director of the liberal newspaper The Washington Post, wrote a critical 30-page report entitled “The Obama Administration and the Press.” Downie, a professor of journalism at Arizona State University, pointed out that Obama did not follow through with his promise to have a transparent administration after severely criticizing the lack of transparency of the administration of George W. Bush.
Downie wrote the following: “In Washington the officials of the Obama administration each day are more fearful to talk to journalists. The war of the government against leaks and other efforts to control information are the most aggressive since the government of Richard Nixon.” He explained that government officials are being subjected to lie detectors while their e-mails and telephone calls are being spied upon. These actions have spread fear among government officials to speak to journalists even about routine matters. The government has also implemented a program called “Insider Threat” by which government officials have been told to spy on anyone who speaks to the press.
These are the actions that are typical of communist regimes such as the ones in Cuba and Venezuela. Michael Oreskes, vice president and editorial director of the Associated Press, stated the following: “The Obama administration has been extremely controlling and reluctant to the intervention of the press.” Frank Sesno, former chief of CNN in Washington, who currently works as director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at the University of George Washington, told professor Downie that “the combined efforts of the Obama administration are restricting the flow of information.” Mainstream pro-Obama media looked the other way.
Now President Obama wants to take over the Internet by exercising what is known as “net neutrality.” This is nothing more than an attempt to control the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press. Our websites bwcentral.org and www.libertadusa.com (in Spanish) are under constant and relentless cyber-attack. In a three-day period, bwcentral.org received over 100,000 cyber-attacks. If net neutrality is enacted into law, anti-communists websites like ours may be shut down.
The Justice Department spied on journalists
It is quite disturbing that top officials of the Obama administration constantly lie to Congress and to all Americans. The outgoing Secretary of the Justice Department, Eric Holder, was the first attorney general in our nation to be declared in “Contempt of Congress” for refusing to provide requested documents regarding the gun-running Operation Fast and Furious to Mexican drug cartels and for constantly lying and committing perjury. The Justice Department provided guns to Mexican drug cartels. Those weapons were used to kill 300 Mexicans as well as an American law enforcement official. The Department of Justice was caught spying on many reporters and their sources of the Associated Press. Following the lead of the president, Attorney General Eric Holder testified in Congress that he was not aware that this search was being done by the Justice Department.
The Associated Press wrote a letter to the Justice Department on May 13, 2013 denouncing “unprecedented intrusion” of the federal government for secretly listening to telephone calls of 100 journalists and their offices over a two-month period. The letter was written by Gary Pruitt and indicated that at least 20 of the telephone lines were listened to during April and May 2012 in their offices in New York, Washington, D.C., and Hartford, Connecticut. Nothing similar to this in such a large scale has ever been done in our nation. It is unprecedented. It is an outrageous violation of the freedom of speech and of the press!
One more time the White House tried to distance itself from this new scandal. Press Secretary Jay Carney, who lies as frequently as the president, said that “beyond the newspaper reports, we have no knowledge whatsoever of what the Justice Department did.” This reprehensible conduct by the Justice Department is similar to the one followed by the KGB in the Soviet Union or Seguridad del Estado, Cuba’s secret police. It is another abuse of power by the Obama administration. It is also an attempt to silence the whistleblowers who speak to the press. Whistleblowers from now on will be reluctant to criticize abuses by the Obama administration if they expect their conversations to be listened to or fear that they will be fired or demoted.
Obama violated the Helms Burton Law and the Constitution
On December 17, 2014, President Barack Obama unilaterally reestablished diplomatic relations with Cuba in violation of the Helms-Burton law and the Constitution. The surprise announcement came at the end of 18 months of secret talks behind the backs of Congress and the American and Cuban people. The illegal and unilaterally move to normalize relations with the tyrannical communist regime of Cuba is being compared to treason throughout the country by Americans of Cuban descent. The measures taken by the White House will prolong the military dictatorship and will enrich the communist regime. It will give oxygen to the worst dictatorship and the most bloodthirsty regime of the Americas. Recognizing Cuba diplomatically and lifting the embargo on Cuba unconditionally will only prolong the suffering of the Cuban people. Obama is responsible in history for having betrayed the defense of human rights and fundamental freedoms of the Cuban people. Obama has betrayed the internal Cuban resistance and opponents of the communist tyrannical regime.
Far from advocating measures and sanctions against the Castro regime aimed at its demise, Obama has given oxygen to keep its tyranny. Obama did not demand that Cuba’s regime respect each of the rights recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, of which Cuba is a signatory as a step to normalize diplomatic relations. Obama did not demand the dismantling of the repressive apparatus of the minions of the Cuban State Security (police) used to repress the Cuban people. Neither did he demand that Castro hold multi-party free elections and restore democracy in Cuba.
It is sad that Obama will help the tyrannical communist regime of Cuba, which has increased repression on the island, violated the arms embargo against North Korea, maintained an army of occupation in Venezuela, and supported henchmen who have killed and tortured young people protesting peacefully in cities of Venezuela. It is shameful the silence of Obama in response to the constant violations of Cuba and Venezuela. Even worse is the silence of Obama to the agreement of Cuba and Venezuela with Russia with respect to naval and military bases located so close to our nation that they will seriously endanger our national security. Instead of recognizing Cuba, Obama should impose tough sanctions against this country.
Americans, Congress, the states, churches, corporations, and other institutions must resist the increasingly repressive Obama administration
Our beloved country is rapidly losing liberty and freedom under the increasingly criminal, repressive, corrupt, scandal-plagued, and tyrannical administration presided by Barack Obama. What would be the proper response to Obama’s repressive regime? There are several actions that can be taken to resist tyranny:
First, the House of Representatives should file impeachment charges against Obama for committing high treason in Libya and for the many other crimes that he has committed during the more than six years that he has been in power. Many Republican leaders are fearful to take this step since they are extremely concerned that Obama would suspend the Constitution and declare martial law. Indeed, Obama has issued an executive order that if there is a major crisis, he would assume dictatorial powers. Republican leaders in Congress are very worried that if the House of Representatives were to file impeachment charges, Obama will manufacture a crisis and declare martial law. Another fear is that Obama supporters would take to the streets and start a civil war.
Second, lawsuits should be filed each and every time the president violates the Constitution with executive orders, executive memos, or regulations that have the same effect as laws. Everyone should file lawsuits, Congress, the states, the churches, all types of institutions, businesses, corporations, and even individuals.
Third, Congress should use the power of the purse. If a government agency is abusing its authority, such as the Internal Revenue Service, EPA, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Health and Human Services, Congress should drastically cut the funding of that agency. Congress should not have an omnibus budget bill to fund the government for the entire year since failure to approve it, would shut down the government. Instead, the Congress needs to pass separate bills funding different agencies. If the President were to veto a bill to fund the IRS, for example, because he disapproves of the reduced funding, then there would be no more IRS.
Fourth, the people should demonstrate in the streets of all the cities against the tyrannical and repressive Obama administration. Why not march to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights which are under serious attack by the Obama regime? Tea party, conservative, and religious organizations demonstrated massively against ObamaCare and were instrumental in taking over the House of Representatives in 2010.
Fifth, all the evangelicals in churches across the nation should organize and ask pastors, priests, and other religious leaders to register and participate in the 2016 election, such as Mat Staver and the Liberty Counsel and others are trying to do. This is not the time for religious leaders to say “we do not want to get involved in politics.” The Church has to defend Christianity and our Constitutional Republic. Remember that the Church played a major role in the American Revolution. If our nation becomes a totalitarian nation ruled by a world government, pastors, and priests, and other religious leaders may end up in prison.
In 2012, only 50% of evangelicals registered to vote and of those only 50% voted. This meant that only 25% of the evangelicals cast their ballots. Our country’s future is on the line. All people of faith must organize and vote in all future elections. No one can stay home. Freedom and our Constitutional Republic are at risk.
Sixth, Americans should become informed as to what the Obama regime is doing to our nation. Everyone has a circle of influence made up of close friends, associates, and family members. Attend conferences, such as Mat Staver’s Awakening, share information with each other and write to members of Congress, and join organizations that fight for freedom and liberty. Never give up on the United States of America, the best country in the world!
Seventh, Americans must demand abandoning the electronic voting machines since anything transmitted electronically can be captured and altered. Our nation must return to paper ballots. Additionally, all 50 states must demand each voter to present a picture I.D. Voter’s registration lists in the states must be purged of dead people and those who have moved to a different jurisdiction. These measures will insure free, fair, and transparent elections in the future.
The Obama socialist agenda was rejected in 2014
During the midterm elections of 2014 evangelicals and freedom loving Americans went to vote in large numbers and achieved a tremendous victory. The same thing must be repeated in 2016. John Solomon wrote an election analysis which was published by The Washington Times on November 5, 2014. Solomon explained the following: “Americans spoke with a vengeance on Election Day 2014. They no longer trust big government to solve their deepest worries. They’re tired of the war on women narrative, too. They still want their economy fixed and don’t mind their governors taking on public unions, either.”
President Obama received the biggest rejection of his presidency, reversed the gains Democrats made just a few short years ago in states such as Iowa and Colorado. Republicans now have the full control of Congress. Americans expect more action in Washington on the issues that matter to them and a better economy by the next time they vote in 2016.
Republicans now have 54 seats in the Senate. Republicans increased their numbers by 12 in the House of Representatives to expand their majority beyond their post-World War II record of 246 seats set in the 1946 election.
Solomon explained that by a wide margin, Americans declared the economy still broken and their confidence in big government disappeared. Only one in five said they trusted government to make the right decision.
Congressman Paul Ryan, from Wisconsin and Republican nominee for vice president in 2012, said “It’s the incompetence of big government that voters are responding to.” On November 5, 2014 Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus stated the following: “This was all about a direct rejection of the Obama agenda.” At the state level, Republicans won so many seats to the legislature that it has not happened since 1928. They won the governorships of the heavily Democratic states of Maryland, Illinois and Massachusetts. Among the chambers picked up were the Nevada Senate and Assembly; New Mexico House; New Hampshire House; and Colorado Senate.
Lastly, people of faith must continue to pray to God to bless our beloved country and to protect us from all enemies within and without our borders.
