LOOKING TO HEAVEN OVER UNCHARTED & TROUBLED WATERS

chicagoWhile the ancient Micronesians and Polynesians looked for the stars in Heaven to guide them across the vast Pacific Ocean, our Forefathers prayed their Father in Heaven for guidance and wisdom when they drafted and wrote the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. After living under tyranny, they knew that their decisions would determine whether or not America as a nation would be able to remain free. So important matters of concern for our liberty were added to the Constitution as “Amendments.”

The First Amendment declares that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The Second Amendment allows for “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

However, these two rights are now being violated along with deliberate attempts to abolish them.

Today, persons who believe in the freedom of speech or the right to peaceable assemble are finding out those rights are being denied by those who are destroying the First Amendment by the treats of intimidation and actual violence.

Many tragic incidents and even deliberate hoaxes, such as the “shootings” that never took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, are very cleverly and deceptively being used to destroy the Second Amendment to our Constitution. “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Yes, “the right of the people…” The most important word in that right is the people. People are the human inhabitants of this nation. They are citizens of this country, not just a few who might be members of “A well regulated Militia…” Furthermore, it means that their right to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed!

So what does the word “infringe” mean? It means to violate a law or break and agreement. It also means to encroach upon in any way that violates the law or the right of another. Therefore, such a right is actually a civil right.

After Japan had bombed U.S. naval cruisers at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, there was nothing in the way to stop the Japanese Imperial Navy and Army from invading the West Coast of the United States except the firearms and ammunition that were kept by American civilians. If “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms” did not exist then in America, the Japanese Army would have invaded the United States.

Today, we are being told by the corporate media that we should no longer have “the right to keep and bear Arms”—especially “assault weapons.” They say that if you need a weapon to protect your home, just get a small handgun. Well, apparently, they have also forgotten the very beginning of the First Amendment, which clearly states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State…

The Militia is actually defined as all able bodied citizens who would be able to serve during the time of any national emergency, such as an invasion by foreign armed forces. During such a war on American soil caused by foreign invaders, it will be necessary for civilians to have access to weapons that are as effective as those being deployed by an enemy army or terrorists.

The weapons currently being deployed by the so-called Islamic State or ISIS in the Middle East are the latest and most modern firearms, which are highly-effective and deadly lethal. Unless our law-abiding citizens are able to acquire comparable and effective weapons for our nation’s common defense that they can “keep and bear,” we shall continue to remain vulnerable to terror caused by ISIS and other so-called “jihadist” groups that have no real affiliation with Islam.

Japanese military intelligence studied the American situation before deciding not to invade the Western United States. Will ISIS intelligence decide not to commit terror in America based on more gun control policies occurring in the United States? In Europe, very few, if any, civilians are permitted to own any firearms. There have been many terror attacks in Western Europe. Now there have been some “shootings” in the United States that may be tied to ISIS. So are we going to disarm or further limit the type of weapons that may be owned by American law-abiding civilians or will the Second Amendment remain as a constitutional right without conditions?
