Based on the evident outrage, I believe the liberal progressive socialist left should start a new movement, GLM — Gorilla Lives Matter. Why? Because it’s quite evident the insidious faux group Black Lives Matter is worthless. First of all, we find out the child in the Cincinnati Zoo that was being dragged by the ape was black — but it seems his death would have been preferred over that of an “endangered species.”
But if what’s happening in Chicago is any indication, blacks there are an endangered species — thanks to what appears to be a lack of concern by the liberal left.

Six people were killed, including a 15-year-old girl, and at least 63 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago over Memorial Day weekend. The total number of people shot during the weekend this year surpassed the 2015 holiday when 55 people were shot, 12 fatally, over Memorial Day weekend.
The most recent homicide happened late Monday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side. Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 11 p.m. found James Taylor lying on the ground near his vehicle in the 5100 block of South Calumet, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Taylor…had been shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Witnesses at the scene were not cooperating with detectives. About the same time, a man was shot to death in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 11 p.m. found 39-year-old Johan Jean lying in a gangway in the 6400 block of North Rockwell, authorities said. Jean…was shot in the neck and taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said. Police said he was 25 years old. A source said the shooting stemmed from a dispute between two women. One of them has a child with the man and the other was his girlfriend. Both women were armed, and the man was eventually shot during the argument. No weapons were recovered from the scene. At least 55 more people were wounded in other shootings across Chicago between 9:25 p.m. Friday and 9:30 p.m. Monday.”
Let me be very clear, if this would have happened in Afghanistan or Iraq during the Bush administration, the mainstream liberal media would be in an uproar. And sadly, this is happening in a black neighborhood in a city run by a white liberal progressive mayor. It’s the home of Saul Alinsky, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton — where are the voices of the latter two?
Where are the voices of Black Lives Matter? A 15-year-old black girl lost her life, just like the little girl in Chattanooga who is now paralyzed and lost her mother to a gang hit.
What is occurring in Chicago is a tragedy and the fact that folks are ignoring it, dismissing it, and not taking any action on it just reflects the complete opposite of “black lives matter.”
Of course the response will be gun control. Well, hate to tell our dear progressive socialist detractors this, but have you EVER paid attention to the highly restrictive gun control laws there in Chicago? Just the same as Obama’s response to the Islamic terror attack in San Bernardino was to call for more gun control, it demonstrates a maniacal delusion centered on an ideological agenda, not reality.
What does it take for the black community to awaken and realize that the liberal progressive left cares little for them…other than exploiting them for electoral patronage. Why aren’t more people asking themselves, what is it about a gorilla story that garners more attention than what happened in Chicago this past weekend? When will a state of emergency be declared in Southside Chicago? And we also have a problem in Baltimore and just about every other inner city in the United States — who runs those cities?
Consider the stupidity of how the left actually promoted a message saying that President George W. Bush wanted Hurricane Katrina to hit New Orleans because he didn’t like black people. Well, how does the left explain Chicago and the disregard of the abject combat zone that typifies south side Chicago, and every black inner city neighborhood?
Funny, the left doesn’t want to talk about the socialist failure in Venezuela. They don’t want to talk about the murders of blacks, unless it’s for their political gain. They do want to talk about wealth redistribution, fairness, diminishing religious freedom, transgender bathroom use… and endangered gorillas.
And y’all actually believe these folks are capable of governing and leading this nation?
